New Moon Solar Eclipse Is Part of a Taurus Stellium. This new moon solar eclipse falls at 19 degrees Taurus. In a solar eclipse the Sun and Moon are always conjunct. What is amazing about this particular eclipse is that it is part of a rolling stellium started by Mars at 14 degrees Taurus, then the South Node at 16 degrees, Mercury at 17 degrees, the Sun and Moon and finally the asteroid Pallas Athena at 19 degrees. Even if you have very little knowledge of astrology, you can see that there is a LOT of energy packed into the sign of Taurus and that it is a very important eclipse for those affected.
Eclipses Bring Change. The April 25 lunar eclipse, this May 9-10 solar eclipse and the upcoming May 24-25 lunar eclipse may bring a relationship change, a career change, a personal image change, or you may be faced with changes beyond your control. Hello dd817, As always, it is good to hear from you again. The May 9, 2013 solar eclipse falls in your 12th house conjunct your Chiron/Venus natal conjunction in Taurus. The eclipse doesn’t promise you will find a relationship. What it does highlight in a big way is the need to let go of old hurts around relationships and material concerns. With Chiron conjunct Venus in your birthchart there are some old buried issues that need to be eradicated once and for all. Remember, the lunar eclipse article talked about letting go of something and the solar eclipse has to do with moving on and letting the new in. As the stellium of transiting planets moves into your first hour Gemini, you should be noticed in a good way, so do the work, put yourself out there and smile a lot.
Pluto is transiting to a near-conjunction with your south node in Capricorn. Problems (money?) having to do with an old (South Node) relationship could resurface. Or, you may need to transform something to do with other’s money as it relates to you. This aspect is not at its maximum strength, but something to be aware of.
