Life is always a polarity. If there were no darkness there would be no light. If there were no trouble there could never be any peace. If the sun always shone you would not appreciate it. You have to learn sometimes through conditions that seem a nuisance. One day you will look back and say, “We learned our best lessons not when the sun was shining, but when the storm was at its greatest, when the thunder roared, the lightning flashed, the clouds obscured the sun and all seemed dark and hopeless.” It is only when the soul is in adversity that some of its greatest possibilities can be realized. ― Silver Birch
October 2020 is an astrologically challenging month, but it can be navigated quite well once you understand the concept of polarity versus balance. The Sun in Libra brings to mind the polarity of the Libra/Aries axis, which correlates to the Ascendent/Descendent in the natural chart. The above image of fire and ice graphically illustrates this point. The danger of course is that the fire melts the ice and/or the ice puts out the fire. We are being challenged in October to keep our balance amid diametrically opposing viewpoints. The current US political climate is a stark reminder that the polarity concept is very much in play. October 2020 is certainly not the easiest month to navigate. Our best bet is to stay centered and balanced amid chaos.
September 27: Mercury enters Scorpio. When the planet of communication and ideas (Mercury) meets the deep, probing sign of Scorpio watch for previously hidden facts to be revealed. The “dirt” is unearthed and revealed for all to see. Not comfortable, but it can be very productive. The New York Times article on Trump’s tax return was revealed on the day that Mercury made ingress into Scorpio.
September 28: Venus Trine Mars Inconjunct Saturn at 25 degrees Leo/Aries/Capricorn. Venus trine Mars is exceptionally beneficial for promoting your business (or promoting yourself). It can also bring romance, and a happy vibe, especially if a transiting planet falls in your 5th house of love. The inconjunct (150 degree) aspect to Saturn reminds us that we may need to make adjustments (inconjunct) before we act (Mars).
October 1: Full Moon at 9 Degrees Aries/Libra. The Aries/Libra polarity is in full force at the Aries Full Moon. You will feel its effect in the area of close relationships, both business and personal. You are challenged to assess your role versus someone else’s role. Are your duties and responsibilities equal and/or fair or do they need to be re-negotiated? An Aries Full Moon is excellent for moving forward with a project that has been stalled.
October 1-17: Jupiter Sextile Neptune at 18-19 degrees Capricorn/Pisces. This sextile combines the optimism of Jupiter with the idealism of Neptune. You may want to withdraw from the chaos around you and to replenish your soul through art, music, dance, or other creative pursuits. On a practical level, use this time to dream large dreams.
October 1: Full Moon at 9 Degrees Libra/Aries. October begins with the Full Moon in Libra. The Moons natural opposition to the Sun in Libra highlights the theme of opposition versus the need for balance. Aries is action, while Libra is cooperation and diplomacy. A Libra full Moon emphasizes relationship matters. You will need every ounce of your relationship/diplomacy skills during the challenging month ahead. Consider the popular quote, “Let me be the peace I want to see in the world.”
October 2: Venus enters Virgo. Venus in Virgo heightens our desire and ability to be of service. Venus transiting Virgo will be favorable for you if you have a Virgo Sun, Moon or Ascendant; let yourself shine during this auspicious transit.
October 5-12: Retrograde Mars Square Pluto at 24-21 degrees Aries/Capricorn. Mars square Pluto is an especially challenging aspect. Each of us will feel the collective stress, tension, challenges and power plays (Pluto). Mars fans the flames of this tension, urging us to just DO SOMETHING. Many of us will react with anger (Mars) and others will try to control things (Pluto). Here is where the polarity with Libra can serve us well. Let us all vow to use some Libra diplomacy and partnership skills to navigate this fraught time.
October 6-9: Mercury Opposing Uranus at 8-10 Degrees Scorpio/Taurus. When the planet of communication and connection (Mercury) opposes the planet of freedom and sudden upsets (Uranus), we can expect startling words from ourselves and others. Both Mercury and Uranus are in fixed signs so communication may consist of each person presenting only their “side” without listening to any opposing views.
October 10-12: Venus trine Uranus at 8-10 degrees of Virgo/Taurus; Mercury sextile Venus at 10-12 degrees of Scorpio/Virgo. You may meet unusual, but very interesting people under Venus trine Uranus. Mercury sextile Venus is lovely for expanding your social circle. Uranus rules the internet, so those social interactions may need to be via Zoom or other social media.
October 13-18: Sun Opposition Mars Square Pluto and Saturn at 20‑25 degrees Libra/Capricorn. This is another time when conflict, tension and challenge are in the very air around us. We will see it in the political climate, but it will also affect us on a personal level. If you have strong placements of planets (or the Sun, Moon and ascendant) in any of the Cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn), you need to be especially aware of this volatile energy. This is not the time to confront someone on the road, the grocery store, or anywhere else. A small disagreement can turn into a scary situation in a second. See October 5-12 above for similar interpretations.
October 14: Mercury Turns Retrograde at 11 Degrees Scorpio. Watch for Mercury retrograde in Scorpio to expose lots of juicy, gossip-worthy information. In your personal life use this energy to probe your subconscious shadow self. What are you hiding from yourself? How are you under-estimating yourself?
Mercury turns direct on November 3 around 1:00 pm Eastern Time at 26 degrees Libra, right as US voters are going to the polls. When Mercury stationed direct on election day 20 years ago, we experienced the “hanging chads” that created election confusion and conflict. Stationary Mercury in Libra promises to reveal an extreme “us versus them” polarity.
October 16: New Moon at 24 Degrees Libra. The New Moon in Libra continues the polarity theme. It offers hope for a new start, particularly in relationship matters. However, this Libra New Moon is square Pluto and Saturn and is in opposition to Mars. Tread lightly with this one as your best attempts at reconciliation could go awry.
October 16-21: Retrograde Mars Square Jupiter at 20-18 Degrees Aries/Capricorn. This is another aspect that can lead to angry confrontations and conflicts (Mars), especially around beliefs and dogma (Jupiter). Mars in retrograde motion challenges you to take another look at what “pushes your buttons.” Ask yourself, “Is it possible that my beliefs may be, at least partially, wrong. Positively, this aspect can energize you. It is also beneficial for furthering projects, so long as you don’t over extend yourself.
October 18-20: Retrograde Mercury Opposing Uranus at 10-8 degrees Scorpio/Taurus. You are prone to impatience and the desire for freedom from constraints under this aspect. Your speech may be blunt and not well thought out. However, this would be an excellent time to restudy any podcasts or seminars regarding astrology and metaphysics. Your mind wants stimulation and new ideas. Astrology can certainly offer you that.
October 22: Sun Enters Scorpio. While the Sun is in Scorpio until November 22, avoid dramas and secrets. Instead, reflect on deeper life issues. This is excellent energy to push toward following your passion. If not now, when???
October 18-22: Venus Trine Jupiter at 18-19 Degrees Virgo/Capricorn; Venus Trine Pluto at 21-22 Degrees Virgo/Capricorn. When the planet of blessings received (Venus) is in an easy aspect with the planet of abundance (Jupiter) you may experience an unexpected financial perk. Venus trine Pluto urges you to actively grab opportunities. Trines require you to do the necessary work to enhance your chances of reward.
October 31: Full Moon at 8 degrees Taurus/Scorpio. Wow! It is astounding that this Full Moon is conjunct Uranus on Halloween night. Your emotions and thoughts may fluctuate wildly during this erratic Taurus full Moon and your urge for freedom and individuality are activated. It’s not the best time to be social, but rather to pay attention to flashes of insight and intuition. If you do go out, be careful. Weirdness takes on a whole new level of strangeness during this Full Blue Moon.

November 3: Astrology of Election Day. The chart below is for election day in the United States at noon in New York City. A few quick things that I noticed: It is a seesaw chart pattern with the planets scattered throughout the chart. This indicates scattered energy when nothing can be relied upon for sure. Mercury is stationing direct square the Capricorn gang (Jupiter, Pluto and Saturn) and the Sun is opposite Uranus. Mercury in the 9th house has to do with truth, but because it is just coming out of its retrograde, there is a strong element of the need for a do-over or clarification. Sun opposite Uranus points to a wild card (Uranus) and that something unpredictable is in the works. Venus inconjunct Uranus, also adds a strong sense of unpredictability. VOTE!!!

Out of clutter, find simplicity. From discord, find harmony. In the middle of difficulty lies opportunity. ―Albert Einstein
Mercury entered Virgo on August 19, followed by the Sun on August 22, which began the shift into a quieter, more focused, introspective and analytical time. The August Leo energy and Mars in its home sign of Aries revved things up, but we are now moving into a time of consolidation. Mars will be strong in its own sign through January 2021.
Mars turns retrograde on September 10 at 28 degrees Aries, which intensifies its effect. Mars retrograde concentrates our anger and frustration, which can lead to unexpected outbursts from both you and others. When planets go retrograde their energy is concentrated and heavier. Thus, the movement is slower, but more potent. Between September 1 and September 12 when Jupiter turns direct, we will have seven planets retrograde. Saturn turns direct on September 28.
A cluster of inconjunct aspects between Mars, Mercury and Venus and the Capricorn stellium (Jupiter, Pluto and Saturn) provokes frustration and impulsive behavior. Use the grounded Virgo energy to analyze and understand any potentially volatile situations, before you act. It is also beneficial to look at your self-imposed limitations (Saturn) in the cold light of reality.
September 1-5: Mercury Sextile Venus at 22-30 degrees Virgo/Pisces. Sun trine Uranus at 11 Degrees Virgo/Taurus and Venus Opposing Saturn at 26 Degrees Pisces/Capricorn. Communications with loved ones are favored during this time period, but Venus opposing Saturn urges you to use restraint when dealing with problematic relationships. This is one of those rare times (at least in 2020) when communication, love and compassion are in abundance. Send someone a note of love or appreciation. While you are at it, send another such note to yourself. You have earned it and are worth it!
September 2: Full Moon at 10 Degrees Pisces/Virgo. The Pisces Full Moon is a call to balance your spiritual leanings with practical underpinnings. Moon in Pisces has a dreamy, ethereal vibe, which is pleasant, but unfocused. Sun in Virgo pushes you to make your wishes, dreams and yearnings practical. Moon in Pisces says: “Let your emotions and imagination flow.” The Sun in Virgo says: “Yes, let them flow and then make concrete plans to bring your desires to fruition.” Lovely!
At the same time the Sun is trine Uranus, Mercury is trine Saturn and sextile Venus, and Venus opposition Saturn. Uranus wants excitement and freedom, while Mercury trine Saturn wants to stay the course. Venus opposition Saturn reminds us to acknowledge our responsibilities and limitations. The pull between freedom and excitement and limitation and responsibility is, and will continue to be, a major influence through the remainder of the year. My advice is to break free of limitations, but to do so in a cautious, responsible mindful way.

September 3-4: Mercury Trine Saturn at 25-26 Virgo/Capricorn; Mercury sextile Venus; Venus square Mars at 26-28 Cancer/Aries; Mercury inconjunct Mars at 27-28 Virgo/Aries. These are not the best days for personal relationships or negotiating contracts and agreements. There is just too much challenging Mercury/Mars energy. The Mercury/Saturn trine and Mercury/Venus sextile help, but the strong Martian/Saturn vibes tend to overpower the easy energy. Those of you with 22 to 28 degrees of the Cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn) will feel this energy the strongest.
September 5: Mercury enters Libra. Mercury in Libra brings a certain diplomacy and smoothness to your interactions with others. Now, until September 26, is the time to work out tricky communication problems by using a diplomatic and fair approach.
September 6: Venus enters Leo. Express your creativity! Celebrate your childlike ability to enjoy life and enjoy fun activities with those close to you while Venus is in Leo through the end of the month.
September 9: Mars Turns Retrograde at 28 Degrees Aries Until November 14 at 15 Degrees Aries). Mars rules our ego and our concept of how we are separate from others. It sets boundaries based on how we see others. Are they different from others? How can others hurt us, etc.? Our interpersonal relationships are passed through an egoic filter when Mars is strong. Instead of letting retrograde Mars separate us, let’s strive to use it to become the best we can be. On a practical level, Mars retrograde can slow down business and material matters giving us a chance to reevaluate our plans.
September 10-11: Sun Opposition Neptune at 19 Degrees Virgo/Pisces. Pay attention to your dreams and your psychic and intuitive insights. This is not a good time to sign important papers. Also be careful of being taking advantage of, as this aspect dissolves your normal boundaries.
September 12: Jupiter Stations Direct at 17 Degrees Capricorn. Jupiter turning direct is cause for celebration. All of those ideas and projects that just couldn’t seem to pick up steam during the summer, will now get a shot of energy. Unpack those projects from the mothballs and let them manifest. Both Jupiter and Saturn end their retrograde periods this month.
September 13-15: Sun trine Pluto at 21-23 Degrees Virgo/Capricorn; Venus square Uranus at 9-10 Degrees Leo/Taurus. Sun trine Pluto is fabulous for bringing hidden matters and motivations out into the light so they can be resolved.
September 16-18: New Moon at 25 Degrees Virgo Square the Lunar Nodes and Trine Saturn in Capricorn; Mercury square Jupiter at 17 degrees Libra/Capricorn. The New Moon conjunct the Sun in Virgo is square the Nodes of the Moon. This begins a one-month cycle where the emphasis is on self-improvement, health and healing. This is a stellar combination in which to start a health program, especially one centered around “food as medicine.” The steadying Saturn influence urges you to focus on establishing long-term healthy habits.
Mercury in Libra square Jupiter in Capricorn (then square Pluto and Saturn) asks you to use diplomacy and a balanced outlook to improve communication with those who do not share your viewpoints. Mercury square Pluto points to words with an “atomic bomb effect,” so choose your words carefully.

September 19-21: Mercury Square Pluto at 20-22 Degrees Libra/Capricorn; Sun Inconjunct Mars at 27-28 Degrees Virgo/Aries. Venus Inconjunct Jupiter at 17 Degrees Leo/Capricorn. Sun, Mercury, Venus and Mars are often inconjunct other planets through the end of the month. Inconjunct aspects are recurring annoyances that call for the need to make adjustments.
September 22: Sun Enters Libra at the Autumn Equinox. What a great opportunity to practice the Libran ideals of harmony, balance and fair play! The skills we build will come in handy on October 13 when the Libran Sun is in opposition to feisty Mars in Aries. We each need to make a decision to choose compromise and negotiation (Sun in Libra) over anger and conflict (Mars Retrograde in Aries).
September 27: Mercury Enters Scorpio. When the planet of ideas, communication and logic enters intense Scorpio, it’s time to do some deep thinking about your place in the world in relation to others. Use Mercury in Scorpio’s investigative skills to get to the bottom of any situation that has confused or vexed you.
September 29:Saturn stations Direct at 25 Degrees Capricorn; Retrograde Mars Square Saturn at 25 Degrees Aries/Capricorn.
Finally, Saturn, the planet of responsibility, limitation and hard work, begins to move forward after being retrograde since May 10. Saturn’s transit through Capricorn will end on December 17, when it moves into Aquarius and joins Jupiter at zero degrees Aquarius at the solstice on December 21. Use the time between now and the solstice to review and take action on those things that you need to take responsibility for. Remember, Saturn always rewards you in its own time.
Mars retrograde in Aries square Saturn may cause frustration and tension. Impulsive Mars wants to quickly move forward, while Saturn says “just a minute, you need to move forward only in a more measured, responsible way.”
Moon Movement During September 2020: Note: The exact time when the Moon moves into a new sign will vary depending on where you live.

“There is a vitality, a life force, an energy, a quickening that is translated through you into action, and because there is only one of you in all time, this expression is unique. And if you block it, it will never exist through any other medium and will be lost.” ― Martha Graham
August opens with the Sun in exuberant Leo, to be joined by Mercury on the 5th, with a lovely Sun trine Chiron in fiery Aries. Action certainly is called for under this fiery connection. Leo is about self-expression, creativity and fun. The trine to Chiron signals an excellent time to heal any lingering hurts or issues around self-expression, creativity and the ability to relax and have fun. We have been under the influence of Capricorn and Saturn for so long that we have forgotten how good it can feel to just let go and to sing, dance or just walk barefoot in the sand or grass. Use the energy of the Sun in Leo to get re-acquainted with your inner child.
At the same time, Sun and Mercury square Uranus in Taurus urges us to rise to the challenge (square energy) of going a little outside our comfort zone to truly live. Chiron in Aries is about letting go of excessive inhibition and to just act and to live and to confidently move toward your dreams. What do you have on your bucket list that you can bring a little closer to fruition?
All in all, August 2020 promises to be an action-packed, challenging month full of chaos, but also full of energy custom made for shaking loose old shackles that have held you back.
July 30: Mercury Trine Neptune; Mercury Opposition Jupiter and Pluto at 20-23 Degrees Cancer/Pisces/Capricorn. This is another one of those times when your thinking is a little foggy and you are prone to over optimism. Use this time for writing, teaching, journalling, or just resting. The rest of the month is action-packed, so a few extra hours spent resting now may be wise. Mercury in opposition to Pluto cautions that you need to watch what you say. When the planet of connection and communication (Mercury) meets powerful Pluto, minor disagreements can escalate into open conflict. Its best to not become engaged in political, power conflicts as such discussions are especially fraught. You (and others) are apt to say things that you later regret.
August 1-2: Sun Square Uranus at 9-10 Degrees Leo/Taurus. The Sun is Square Uranus, while Mercury is in opposition to Pluto/Saturn and Jupiter. This could, unfortunately, be the perfect configuration for stimulating civil unrest, social clashes and just plain chaos. Breathe deeply and realize that unrest is necessary to bring about change. Each skirmish or hard-to-watch event brings us that much closer to the changes that we want to see.
August 2-5: Mars square Jupiter (and Pluto) at 19-23 Degrees Aries/Capricorn. In its simplest form, Mars square Jupiter is a challenging aspect of “an over-abundance of energy and anger with control issues.” Out of control political and personal conflicts are possible. Chill out and stay calm. This energy will be especially strong if you have any planets near 19-23 degrees of the Cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn. On a positive note, this is one of those highly motivating energy sets. Use it wisely.
August 3: Full Moon at 11 Degrees Leo Opposing Sun in Aquarius. This Full Moon is reminiscent of the January 31, 2018 Eclipse, when the Leo Moon was opposite the Aquarius Sun. If you can remember the energy during that eclipse, this full Moon may have similar effects. This Full Moon square Uranus, the ruler of Aquarius, brings even more rebellious, inventive and even shocking, energy. No doubt about it, the Leo Full Moon square Uranus is volatile. However, if you are feeling stuck and lethargic, the Leo Moon square Uranus can be extremely advantageous in getting you moving. Think: What attitudes do I need to let go of in order to move forward in uncharted paths (Aquarius/Uranus) in a bold, self-confident way (Leo)?

August 5: Mercury enters Leo. Mercury moving into Leo gives a shot of mental stimulation. Jot down your ideas. You can make them more real when Mercury moves into Virgo on August 19.
August 7: Venus enters Cancer. When the planet of love (Venus) transits the sign of family and home (Cancer) until September 6, think of how you can reach out to family in a COVID-safe way. This would be an excellent time to extend an olive branch to any estranged family members.
August 10-16: Mars in Aries Square Pluto in Capricorn at 22-23 Degrees. Be especially careful of provoking conflict! Mars square Pluto is an extremely tense, challenging aspect. The urge to act and to act now, conflicts with the traditional or entrenched way of being. We will see this played out in the news, as the urge for freedom clashes with governmental structures. In your personal life, examine where you are willfully (Pluto) promoting anger and strife (Mars).
August 14-17: Sun Conjunct Mercury and both Sun and Mercury Trine Mars at 22-24 degrees of Leo/Aries and Inconjunct Neptune in Pisces. Finally, an easy trine energy in fire signs Leo and Aries. This trine energy is a blessing amid the challenging, ongoing Mars square Pluto/Saturn in Aries/Capricorn. Communication and connection are favored.
August 18-19: Leo New Moon Conjunct Sun at 26 Degrees Leo. This is a wonderful New Moon for self-expression, setting bold, new intentions and making a commitment to follow your revised or new path. Dwarf planet Eris square Pluto at this New Moon gives you the strength and will to eradicate the “skeletons” in your closet and/or help you face unconscious fears.

August 22: Sun Enters Virgo. Time to make the lofty, optimistic ideas that were generated by the Sun in Leo, practical, concrete and down-to-earth. Worker-bee Virgo provides the plans and blueprints to make your ideas successful.
August 22-24: Mars square Saturn at 25-26 degrees Aries/Capricorn. Lots of energy and action in the political scene and the world stage regarding the “haves- and have-nots.” The urge to bring on the new through dynamic action clashes with the old guard, traditional ideas. Mars square Saturn is setting the stage for Mars’ retrograde movement beginning on September 9, 2020. We are called to examine our attitudes around lack and limitation. Ask: What makes me angry (Mars) regarding my perceptions around lack and limitation (Saturn)?
August 27: Venus Trine Neptune at 27 Degrees Cancer/Pisces. I am happy that we can end the month on such a harmonious, dreamy, creative, romantic and spiritual note. Light a candle, walk by the water and/or write a love or appreciation note to your special someone(s).
September 1: Full Moon at 10 Degrees Pisces/Virgo. Our hopes and dreams meet practicality.
Moon Movement During August 2020: Note: Time of the Moon’s movement into a sign varies depending on where you live.
August 1: Moon in Capricorn
August 2: Moon enters Aquarius
August 3: Full Moon at 11 Degrees 45 Minutes Aquarius
August 4: Moon enters Pisces
August 7: Moon enters Aries
August 9: Moon enters Taurus

If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration.― Nikola Tesla
The planetary movements in July seem to fit all the requirements of energy, frequency and vibration. Mars, the planet of anger, action, energy and aggression, moves from nebulous Pisces into its home sign of action-oriented Aries.
In addition, we experience the third summer eclipse at 14 degrees Cancer on July 4th or 5th (depending on your location). The energy of this eclipse activates the Cancer/Capricorn frequencies and energizes the concept of home and security (Cancer) versus our place in the world (Capricorn).
Finally, we have the second conjunction of Jupiter and Pluto in Capricorn bringing an expansion (Jupiter) of our focus on government, rules and restriction (Capricorn).
Those of you with early-degree planets in the Cardinal signs (Cancer, Capricorn, Libra and Aries), and Scorpio will feel the energizing effect the most.
June 28: Mars Enters Aries. Mars Sextile Saturn at Zero Degrees Aries/Aquarius. When a planet enters a new sign at zero degrees of a sign its influence is amplified in the new sign. Mars is very strong in its own sign of Aries. Combining Mars’ zero-degree ingress with its Arian strength gives us a strong fiery, active Arian feel to the next 6-plus months.
While Mars was in Pisces, many of us felt extra tired, confused and lethargic. Mars in a water sign is unable to express freely. Now with Mars in a fire sign, we will hopefully feel a little more energetic. Mars in Aries gives us the oomph and courage to push ahead with our desires. The main downside of Mars’ Aries journey is that anger and aggression will be even more freely expressed. We would all be wise to transmute our anger into passion for a cause or desired accomplishment.
Mars sextile Saturn retrograde in Capricorn is an excellent aspect to accomplish something that you have been putting off. It brings a burst of action and energy (Mars) tempered with the need to proceed slowly and realistically (Saturn).
July 1: Retrograde Jupiter Conjunct Retrograde Pluto at 24 Degrees Capricorn. This is the second of three historic conjunctions of Jupiter and Pluto in Capricorn. Jupiter only conjuncts Pluto in Capricorn every 250 years. The last time this occurred was in 1771 during the time of the American and French revolutions. It certainly explains the feeling that we are experiencing a historic turn of events!
This conjunction expands a lot (Jupiter) of very intense (Pluto) energy. Jupiter relates to cultural movements and truth as you see it. Though Jupiter conjunct Pluto can be challenging, it is unparalleled for furthering spiritual growth. The next exact conjunction will be on November 11, 2020, but the effects will be in play all year.
Saturn Retrograde Re-enters Capricorn Until December 17, 2020. Saturn’s influence from the beginning of the year until March 21, when it was in Capricorn, will once again be brought out and looked at. Hopefully, it will help show the mistakes made in stopping COVID-19 and allow re-evaluation of our path forward.
July 4 or 5: Full Moon Lunar Eclipse at 14 Degrees Capricorn/Cancer. This is the last eclipse of the summer eclipse series. It is an emotional, intense eclipse due to the Cancer Sun square Mars. Out-of-control emotions in opposition to authority and authority figures is one likely outcome of this volatile eclipse. Any full Moon in Cancer is always exceptionally emotional and we tend to react from an emotional level. Sun in Capricorn is rational rather than emotional. When the Cancer Moon interacts with the Capricorn Sun our emotions may go back and forth like a teeter totter — rational like the Capricorn Sun then emotional like the Cancer Moon and then repeat. Stay grounded.

July 7-9: Mercury Square Mars at 5 to 7 Degrees of Cancer/Aries. Fast and targeted thinking are benefits of this aspect. However, the tendency may be to speak without thinking. Slow down and think before you speak.
July 11-13: Sun Trine Neptune at 19-20 Degrees Cancer/Pisces. Sun trine Neptune can bring a few days of confusion and fatigue. Emotional family matters may be a prominent source of confusion and worry. However, for those of you who are tuned into a higher power or divine guidance, this is an especially enlightening time. Messages from the “other side” may enter your consciousness.
July 12: Mercury Turns Direct at 15 Degrees Pisces. A lot of the fuzzy communication will start to clear up, especially after Mercury exits its shadow period on July 23rd.
July 15: Sun Enters Cancer. The emphasis turns to home and family. Nurture yourself and loved ones.
July 13-16: Sun Opposition Jupiter and Pluto at 21-24 Degrees Cancer/Capricorn. Can you say “power play?” Oppositions always show opposing points of view. When you add in powerful Pluto, expansive Jupiter, and Sun trine Neptune we have a perfect picture of confusion meant to obfuscate and/or control. Pay attention not only to what is obvious, but also to what is going on behind the scenes. What you hear on the news may have hidden meanings during this strong opposition. Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn feel such challenges strongly.
July 19-21: Sun Opposite Saturn at 27 to 29 Degrees Cancer/Capricorn. Conflicts relating to authority are dominant during the transit of the Sun in Cancer opposite Saturn in Capricorn. We can see this in the news stories relating to Black Lives Matter and the rules (or lack thereof) regarding the coronavirus. Decisions on whether to stay at home or return to the workplace and/or public life will be front and center under this opposition.
July 27: Mercury Square Mars at 16 Degrees Cancer/Aries. Problems, irritation, arguments and mechanical breakdowns are some of the possible manifestations of this troublesome, but thankfully, fast moving transit.
July 30: Mercury Opposition Jupiter at Cancer/Capricorn and Mercury Trine Neptune at Degrees Cancer/Pisces.
