I love this slightly strange image, as it depicts the connection between traditional tapestry (Virgo and earth signs) and the futuristic digital influence (Virgo planets square Uranus). I view September as a connecting month, because September contains the fall equinox and connects the end of summer to the beginning of fall. September highlights the sign of Virgo and the much-needed qualities of organization, attention to detail, clear-headed thinking and reliability. Uranus rules electricity, earthquakes, and sudden events or reversals. Uranus in Gemini in square aspect to the early degrees of Virgo shakes up the good-for-you Virgo influence and adds an unexpected, sometimes exciting, element to the usually calm Virgo energy.

The month begins with Jupiter trine Saturn and also Mars square Saturn, a puzzling, tense set up indeed. Jupiter/Saturn transits are generally helpful, but that benefit is tempered by Mars square Saturn. Jupiter brings high expectations and the tendency to over extend your energy reserves, while Saturn urges restraint. Frustrations run high and aggressive outbursts can result due to Saturn and Mars being at odds with one another. Those of you with planets or points near 13 degrees of cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn or mutable signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius or Pisces) will feel the friction the most.

Otherwise, the energy is fairly routine this month with lots of quincunx aspects (adjustment) and a few sesiquiquadrate aspects (challenge). Another possible caution periods is September 15, when Venus is square Pluto, potentially bringing relationship issues up for review.

September 1-2: Mars Square Saturn at 13 Degrees Cancer/Aries. Mars at 14 Degrees Cancer Sesiquiquadrate North Node at 29 Degrees Aquarius. Mars square Saturn and Mars sesiquiquadrate the North Node bring a sense of frustration and unease. Ask yourself: Is my outer, public life in tune with my soul’s desire?

September 5: Sun Quincunx Saturn at 13 Degrees Virgo/Aries. Saturn in Aries generally motivates you to move forward, but with an eye toward doing so in a responsible and productive way. Sun quincunx Saturn urges you to assess the upside and downside of any action you undertake.

September 7: Sun at 15 Degrees Virgo Sesiquiquadrate Chiron at 0 Degrees Taurus. The Sun is your core identity, while Chiron indicates where you feel vulnerable and wounded. Under a Sun sesiquiquadrate Chiron aspect you may feel inadequate and more prone to self-doubt and self-flagellation. The Sun in perfectionistic Virgo only adds to the self-abuse. Break the pattern by cleaning out a drawer or dusting the bookcase. Virgo loves tidiness and organization!

September 8: Venus Trine North Node at 28 Degrees Libra/Aquarius. Venus trine the North Node brings a lovely flow to your life. Events under this transit sometimes have a fated feel, especially in financial and relationship matters.

September 10: Venus Enters Scorpio. Venus Opposition Chiron at 0 Degrees    Scorpio/Taurus. Your emotions intensify when Venus is in Scorpio. Venus opposition Chiron urges you to examine and heal old wounds, especially wounds around love (Venus), money (Venus) and security (Chiron in Taurus). Venus turns retrograde on October 2, giving you even longer to explore your inner motivations and true desires around love, money and security.

September 10: Mercury Enters Libra. Mercury Quincunx Chiron at 0 Degrees Libra/Taurus. Mercury in Libra until September 30, brings a more balanced outlook on life. Your sense of fairness is heightened and your ability for diplomatic speech is enhanced. Mercury quincunx Chiron helps you discern where adjustments need to be made. Chiron in Taurus indicates that you may have been too stubborn or unyielding in your interactions with others. Mercury in Libra is excellent for smoothing over old relationship snafus and misunderstandings.

September 10: Uranus Turns Stationary Retrograde at 5 Degrees Gemini.  Uranus, the great awakener, is retrograde until February 8, 2027, when it will turn stationary direct at 1 degree Gemini. Uranus events are less visible when it is retrograde because its powerful energy is turned inward. When direct it can cause chaos, sudden turns in fortune, earthquakes and general disruption. When retrograde its effects are more subtle, but no less powerful. Look for breakthroughs in understanding and communication and even flashes of insight into problems that have long defied solutions.

September 10: New Moon and Sun at 18 Degrees Virgo, Sesiquiquadrate Pluto at 3 Degrees Aquarius. Neptune Sextile Pluto at 3 Degrees Aries/Aquarius. The Virgo New Moon is an excellent time to rethink and revise your everyday habits, organization and health self-care. The New Moon sextile Pluto gives you the extra oomph and motivation to take your health care and organization seriously.

Neptune sextile Pluto will be in force for decades, because both Neptune and Pluto are very slow moving. This aspect combines Neptunes, creativity, imagination and spirituality with Pluto’s ability to bring about profound change and transformation on a very deep level. On an individual level, if you have planets in the early degrees of the Cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn) or the fixed signs (Aquarius, Taurus, Leo, Scorpio) you are undergoing a deep emotional clearing that can lead to enhanced intuitive and creative abilities over time.

September 15: Venus Square Pluto at 3 Degrees Scorpio/Aquarius. Venus Quincunx Neptune at 3 Degrees Scorpio/Aries. Proceed with caution in all matters pertaining to love and money. Venus square Pluto can bring out hidden issues regarding power, jealousy, control and possessiveness. Overspending due to stress or to soothe your security needs could also be an issue. You may want to address these issues in a week or so when the energy is less intense.

September 20: Venus Quincunx Uranus at 5 Degrees Scorpio/Gemini. You may be at war with yourself under the Venus quincunx Uranus aspect. Inner tension arises because Venus desires closeness and affection, while Uranus wants freedom and change. If you are in a relationship, alleviate this internal tug-of-war by enjoying unusual, or even weird get-aways. Exploring ghost towns together would be one possible suggestion.

September 22: Sun Enters Libra at the Equinox. Sun Quincunx North Node and Chiron. Jupiter at 18 Degrees Leo Sesiquiquadrate Neptune at 3 Degrees Aquarius. The Sun in Libra until October 23, 2026 emphasizes, fairness, diplomacy and balance. It favors all kinds of relationship matters. The Sun quincunx the North Node and Chiron points out the need to apply Libra’s talent for negotiation to relationship snafus. Ask Yourself: “How can I move past and heal the relationship tension (Libra and Chiron), while being true to myself and my needs (Libra and North Node).

September 25: Sun Opposition Neptune at 3 Degrees Libra/Aries. Don’t push yourself when the Sun is opposite Neptune. Your energy is low, you may feel tired, confused and more prone to catch colds and the flu. The good news is that you have high imagination, intuition and enhanced spiritual insights. Rest and tune into your creative and spiritual side now.

September 26: Full Moon at 3 Degrees Aries/Libra. Moon Conjunct Neptune Opposition Sun. Sun Trine Pluto at 3 Degrees Libra/Aquarius. The energy of the Aries Full Moon is rather jumbled due to the Moon in action-oriented Aries opposite the Sun in relationship-oriented Libra. The Aries Moon conjunct Neptune is also a confusing energy. The Aries Moon says: “Go, go, go; while dreamy Neptune says “let’s take a nap, sit by the stream, or light a candle and do yoga or meditate.” This is not the best time to start new projects, but could be great for using your burst of energy (Moon in Aries and Sun trine Pluto) to complete partially completed projects.

September 27: Mars Square Chiron at 29 Degrees Cancer/Aries. Mars Enters Leo at 10:48 PM. Mars squares Chiron just before it enters Leo, emphasizing those hurtful episodes from the past that are no longer relevant or useful. Mars in Leo until November 25, 2026, activates a surge of confidence and the urge to move forward with pet projects. Those of you with planets in early-to-mid Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius and Taurus will feel increased motivation.

September 28: Sun Trine Uranus at 5 Degrees Libra/Gemini. Try something new when the Sun is trine Uranus. You deeply feel the need to express your creative, inventive, and even unconventional, impulses now. You are more open-minded, now and your thoughts are firing quickly, in a quirky, imaginative way.

September 30: Mercury Enters Scorpio. Mercury is in Scorpio until December 6, 2026, including a brief excursion into retrograde movement  from October 24 – November 13, 2026. Mercury in Scorpio intensifies your thinking and conversations. Serious, deep, and sometimes sharp and cutting words are the norm now. Mercury moves from Libra where all words are run through the niceness filter, to now become serious, deep, sharp and raw. Mercury in Scorpio can spark arguments, but handled carefully can clear the air. Secrets are often exposed when Mercury is in Scorpio. Should be especially interesting in the US political scene only a few weeks before the US election on November 3. What interesting revelation will we see next?
