Astrology Transits June 2025 -Cosmic Shifts

The visionary starts with a clean sheet of paper and reimagines the world.” —Malcolm Gladwell    (Neptune)

I discovered that a fresh start is a process. A fresh start is a journey—a journey that requires a plan. —Vivian Jokotade   (Mars and Saturn)

The big news for the last part of May into June and forward is Saturn’s move into Aries on May 24. Saturn will be in Aries for the next couple of years, except for a brief retrograde back into Pisces from September 2025 until February 2026.

Saturn in Aries is part of a continuing connection Saturn has with Neptune at zero degrees Aries. Saturn and Neptune are part of the big shift made by all of the outer planets as they move into new signs in 2025.

In the photo above, the mist in the distance represents the Neptunian veil of foggy perception and illusion. Yet, when we immerse ourselves in it, we feel our intuition expanding and we are infused with a sense of awe and spiritual connection. The well-defined path relates to Saturn, which brings sense of direction to your endeavors.

Saturn is known as the “Great Taskmaster.” It is the planet of responsibility, patience and limitation. It requires you to “toe the line” within a structured setting and to plan and work hard to achieve your goals. Saturn’s role is to prepare you and keep you focused. It brings rewards, but on its own schedule and only once you have proved yourself.

Neptune wants you to dream the impossible dream, while Saturn absolutely requires you to be real and authentic. Ask yourself?

  • How much do I desire the wished for outcome?
  • How confident am I that you I can be successful?>
  • How much work am I willing to do to bring about that outcome?
  • Am I willing to be patient and practice persistence, even when the desired outcome looks out of my reach?

Combining the power of Neptune to dream big with Saturn’s power to plan and define purpose, along with focused work (Saturn) can help you manifest your dreams (Neptune).

June 1: Venus Conjunct Chiron at 25 Degrees Aries. Venus and Chiron are trine the Leo Moon and sextile Jupiter. The beneficial vibes of both Venus and Jupiter assist you in looking at old wounds (Chiron) and offer healing energy to resolve or, at least, to move past old disagreements and hurtful events.

June 6: Venus Enters Taurus. Venus in Taurus brings your focus to your love life, nature and financial matters. Venus is sextile the big planet Jupiter as Venus enters Cancer. You may be tempted to spend more than you should on pretty things, especially items for the home. Taurus loves security, so its best to practice restraint when deciding how and when to spend your money.

June 8: Sun at 18 Gemini Sesiquiquadrate Pluto at 3 Aquarius. If you have planets near 18 degrees Gemini or 3 Aquarius, you may want to wait a few days before taking action, especially when communicating with others,

June 8-9: Mercury Enters Cancer June 8 and Jupiter Enters Cancer June 9. Mercury in Cancer adds emotional sensitivity and empathy to your communications. You may find that you are having more discussions about your home, especially around making it more “homey.”  Mercury will be in Cancer until June 26 and Jupiter will be in Cancer until June 30, 2026.

June 9: Venus Square Pluto at 3 Degrees Taurus/Aquarius. Be careful in your interactions with those close to you now. Venus square Pluto in the fixed signs of Taurus and Aquarius brings intensity and stubbornness that can result in intense battles over nothing of importance. Mercury Quincunx Pluto requires adjustment of your words and communication. Your words may be perceived as more aggressive, intense and powerful than you realize.

June 11: Full Moon at 20 Degrees 39 Minutes Sagittarius at 3:43 AM EDT.  The full Moon in Sagittarius forms a grand trine with Mars in Leo and Chiron in Aries. The Sagittarius Full Moon radiates a sense of confidence, joy and optimism. Use this auspicious full moon to accomplish those things that once seemed overwhelming or impossible.

June 15: Mars Square Uranus at 28 Degrees Leo/Taurus. Jupiter Square Saturn at 1 Degree Cancer/Aries. Mars square Uranus in the fixed signs of Leo and Taurus is a volatile, unpredictable aspect. It’s best not to engage in conflicts now, as both sides are apt to be stubborn (fixed signs) and the energy is such that any conflicts can quickly erupt into an all-out war. Jupiter square Saturn adds to the problematic energy. This aspect brings a feeling of uncertainty, tension and a “poor me” attitude. Jupiter tends toward grandiosity, while Saturn maintains that all is not well. Keep your own counsel until the volatility eases at the end of June.

June 17: Mars Enters Virgo. Mars liked being in Leo, a fellow fire sign. Both Mars and Leo like action and Mars is very visible when in Leo. Now, Mars in Virgo until August 7 is calmed down and much quieter. Use this quieter Mars to do some serious organizing and hauling away clutter. Mars in Virgo is also good for staring an exercise program or for taking part in community service work.

June 18-20: Jupiter Square Neptune at 2 Degrees Cancer/Aries. Mars at 1 Degree Virgo Quincunx Saturn and Neptune at 2 Degrees Aries. Jupiter wants you to feel optimistic, but things just seem too confusing when Jupiter is square Neptune. Mars in Virgo quincunx Saturn effectively steps on the brakes. An adjustment is called for under the quincunx aspect. This is not the best time to initiate new projects as the steps to get to completion and the outcome just aren’t clear.

June 20: Sun Enters Cancer.  Your thoughts turn to home and family when the Sun is in Cancer. You feel the need to nurture and protect those you love, whether a person or your special pet. You may want to do more baking or cooking now to express your love for family. Your emotions are stronger than usual and your emotional sensitivity is enhanced.

June 22-23: Sun at 1 Degree Cancer Square Saturn and Neptune at 1-2 Degrees Aries. Mars Quincunx Pluto at 3 Degrees Virgo/Aquarius.  The Sun in Cancer square the Saturn/Neptune conjunction really amps up the energy today. See my discussion at the beginning of this newsletter for more information on the effects of Sun square Saturn and Neptune.

Mars quincunx Pluto requires finesse. Aggression and power are hallmarks of both Mars and Pluto. When they face off in a quincunx, something has to give. Be especially careful of aggressive drivers and of disagreements that quickly escalate into separations and hurt feelings.

June 24: Sun Conjunct Jupiter at 3 Degrees Cancer Quincunx Pluto at 3 Degrees Aquarius. Mercury Square Chiron at 26 Degrees Cancer/Aries. Sun conjunct Jupiter brings a big dose of optimism and a positive outlook. This aspect combined with Mercury square Chiron is superb for bringing understanding and healing to past hurts and wounding.

June 25: New Moon at 4 Degrees Cancer at 6:31 AM EDT. This Cancer New Moon is significant. The Sun and Moon are square the Saturn/Neptune conjunction. The New Moon is inconjunct Pluto and sextile Mars, which forms a yod aspect with Pluto at the Apex.  Use your intuition now, but proceed cautiously. Powerful energy indeed.

June 26: Mercury Enters Leo. Mercury Trine Saturn at 1 Degree Aries. Mercury in Leo trine Saturn in Aries brings clear thinking and the energy to deal with any tasks that require concentration and attention to detail.

June 29: Mercury Opposition Pluto at 3 Degrees Leo/Aquarius. Mercury opposition Pluto is the aspect known for propaganda and indoctrination. Stand up for what you believe and do not be swayed by the glitter of false promises. Instead, use this aspect to dig deep to understand the truth behind false stories.

Astrology Transits April 2025 – Action and Courage, Not Fear

“The cave you fear to enter holds the treasure you seek.” – Joseph Campbell

“Fear keeps us focused on the past or worried about the future. If we can acknowledge our fear, we can realize that right now we are okay. Right now, today, we are still alive, and our bodies are working marvelously. Our eyes can still see the beautiful sky. Our ears can still hear the voices of our loved ones.” – Thich Nhat Hanh

The partial Solar Eclipse of the Sun at 9 Aries on March 29 ushered in a new beginning connected to the essence of the sign of Aries. Namely, that of action, courage, impulsiveness, anger and, most of all, new beginnings.

Neptune moved into Aries on March 30 quietly reshaping our deepest spiritual and moral understandings. Neptune had been in Pisces since April 4, 2011. Neptune is at home and feels comfortable in its “home sign” of Pisces. Now, as it moves into uncomfortable Aries, you may find that you need to confront past beliefs and to become more aggressive in your moral stance. Use the beginning stage of Neptune in Aries to review your goals, your moral understandings and your ability to become more involved in the actions and reactions of yourself and those around you. Neptune will be in Aries until March 2029, with a brief retrograde return to Pisces from Octboer 2025 through January 2026. Use this time to reassess your spiritual beliefs (Pisces) and to come to terms with what is worth fighting for (Aries) in your life and the world at large.

The April forecast is relatively quiet, but changes dramatically after April 21st when an intense, explosive, power-hungry T-square between the Sun, Mars and Pluto dominates between April 21 and April 27. Add in the Taurus New Moon on the 27th in the fixed sign of Taurus and it points to a very challenging time indeed. Saturn in Pisces all through April can help you stay grounded and focused. The sign of Pisces reminds you to not lose your compassionate, caring nature during those challenging times.

April 2: Venus Conjunct North Node at 26 Degrees Pisces.Venus Opposition South Node at 26 Degrees Pisces/Virgo. Venus conjunct the North Node and opposing the South Node urges you to appreciate and join with others for a mutually beneficial compassionate endeavor. Venus opposition South Node shows the need to leave old ideas and prejudices behind. The sign of Pisces brings universal love and the sign of Virgo brings discernment. Ask yourself: How can I join with others to bring more joy and peace to my neighborhood, my country and the world?

April 4: Saturn Sextile Uranus at 256 Degrees Pisces/Taurus. Mars Trine Saturn at 25 Degrees Cancer/Pisces. Mars Sextile Uranus at 25 Degrees Cancer/Taurus. Saturn brings a sense of responsibility and stability, while Uranus seeks to shake things up. Though the energies of Saturn and Uranus don’t mesh well, this aspect can reveal new and exciting concepts and ideas. Uranus brings revolution, new directions and breakthroughs, Mars brings the courage to embark on new endeavors and Saturn keeps you grounded and focused. Saturn also tames the more impulsive and aggressive Mars’ tendencies.

April 6-7: Venus Conjunct Saturn at 25 Degrees Pisces, Trine Mars at 25 Degrees Cancer. Venus conjunct Saturn helps you evaluate your relationships and financial matters. Mars gives you the courage and will to make changes where necessary. We treasure stability, loyalty and duty when Venus is conjunct Saturn. This would be a good time to finalize business agreements as all parties are willing to find a middle ground.

April 8: Mercury Direct Conjunct North Node, Venus and Saturn at 25-27 Degrees Pisces. Your communications become more focused when Mercury goes direct in Pisces. Stubborn relationship or money matters may now have more clarity as solutions come into focus.

April 12: Venus stations Direct at 24 Degrees Pisces. Venus turning direct in Pisces gives you a chance to make amends or to re-establish strained relationships. Beauty and artistic ventures are especially favored now.

April 12: Full Moon at 23 Degrees Libra; Sun Conjunct Chiron at 23 Degrees Aries. The Sabian symbol for this Libra Full Moon is: “A third wing on the left side of a butterfly.” It points out the fact that we are all different and unique and yet, valuable and beautiful. It is time to honor and capitalize on those things that make you unique, creative, original, distinctive and peculiar. In a judgmental world that values conformity, this Full Moon in Libra honors your individuality and encourages you to have the courage (Aries Sun in opposition) to follow your own path. Meanwhile, transiting Uranus trine the South Node (the past) and sextile the North Node (new opportunities) shakes up your sense of complacency. Ask yourself: Am I ready to give up past limitations to honor my special gifts and talents.

April 16: Mercury Enters Aries and Conjuncts Neptune at 00 Degrees Aries. Everything, but especially communication, picks up when Mercury enters Aries. Hold off on important discussions until after April 23 when Mercury moves past Neptune. The Sun square Pluto gives you the courage to make changes and bold, new moves. Just check everything out first as Neptune at zero degrees can obscure the truth or fog the issues.

April 18: Mars Enters Leo. Bring out the crayons, watercolors and musical influences of all kinds when Mars is in Leo. Also, throw your shoulders back and present your most dramatic and confident self. Its time to let your talents show, when Mars transits Leo. Just be careful not to let yourself become arrogant or condescending.

April 19: Sun Enters Taurus. Mars Trine Neptune at 00 Degrees Leo/Aries. The Sun in Taurus until May 20 is superb for consolidating financial matters. There is a lot of fear now regarding finances. The Sun in Taurus urges you to pay attention to your long-term stability and security.

April 20: Sun Square Mars at 1 Degree Taurus/Leo. Everyone will be feeling impulsive, headstrong and competitive under the Sun square Mars transit. The possibility of accidents is heightened due to a lack of restraint and common sense. Use this time to motivate yourself, not to compete with others.

April 23: Sun Square Pluto at 3 Degrees Taurus/Aquarius. Power struggles, intensity, and just plain bull-headedness are some of the keywords used to describe Sun square Pluto. Be careful in your interactions with authority figures and realize that your way is not always the best way. Sun square Pluto can bring up deep, unresolved issues, especially with authority figures. Now is not the time to confront those in power or, really, anyone you are in conflict with. Say focused, and non-confrontational and your ability for accomplishment is through the roof.

April 24: Venus Conjunct Saturn at 27 Degrees Pisces. You may not be feeling “warm and fuzzy” when Venus is conjunct Saturn. Unfortunately, you may be super focused on the faults and limitations of yourself and those around you. Use this time to spend quiet, nurturing time alone. Saturn and Venus together can bring a feeling of loneliness and discontent, whether you are with others or not.

April 26: Mars Opposition Pluto at 3 Degrees Leo/Aquarius. Mars opposition Pluto on the Leo/Aquarius axis can either be a time of great energy and accomplishment or a time of extreme power struggles, obsessions and jockeying for position. Use this time to come up with solutions, rather than aggressively pushing (Mars) your own views and your need to be number one (Mars in Leo).

April 27: New Moon at 7-8 Degrees Taurus. You feel the need to increase your feeling of safety and stability under this Taurus New Moon. Though the outside world remains in a state of flux due to the outer planets all moving into new signs this spring and summer, vow to find space to tune into your inner sense of peace and tranquility. Nature is especially healing at this time. Consider planting a garden, buying a new houseplant or just taking long walks in nature. This is truly the time to hug a tree!

April 30: Venus Enters Aries. Venus in Aries conjunct Neptune calls for an evaluation of what and who you hold dear. Venus, the planet of love, conjunct Neptune, the planet of high ideals, brings a sense of universal love and a selfless regard for all sentient creatures. When I was taking classes at the School of Metaphysics, we practiced going around the circle and saying to the person next to us: “I love you just because you are.” This is the spirit of Venus in Aries conjunct Neptune.

Astrology Transits March 2025 – Dreams Move Into Action

Photo byCristi Ursea on Unsplash

Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always remember, you have within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world. — Harriet Tubman

The month opens with a six-planet rolling stellium in Pisces (Sun, Saturn, Mercury, Moon, Neptune, Venus and the North Node). The concentrated planetary activity in Pisces at the beginning of the month gives us the opportunity to dream big dreams. Everything begins with a dream, an idea or a spark of intuition. The first part of March has that imaginative, intuitive, creative energy in abundant supply.

The activity and energy shifts in the second half of the month when the emphasis moves to Aries. Aries energy is an active, dynamic, courageous and, sometimes, aggressive energy that is perfect for charging ahead toward your goals.

Some major, important shifts this month are:

  • Venus stations retrograde on March 1.
  • Full Moon Total Lunar Eclipse at 24 Degrees Virgo on March 14.
  • Mercury turns retrograde on March 15.
  • Partial Solar Eclipse of the Sun at 9 Aries on March 29.
  • Neptune moves into Aries on March 30.

March 1: Venus Stations Retrograde at 10 Degrees Aries. Venus retrograde in Aries brings out issues of independence (Aries) versus cooperation (Venus). It also speaks to the need to re-evaluate what you want from life. You can actively and courageously pursue your dreams once Venus turns direct on April 14. Then, when Venus re-enters Aries on May 1, you will be ready to act on your dreams. The more you plan now, the more successful you will be at that time. Ask yourself:

  • Are my actions and daily conduct in tune with my values (not someone else’s values)?
  • Am I meeting the needs of those close to me? If you no longer wish to meet their needs, what is the best way to withdraw from the conflict?
  • Do you want more love in your life. If yes, what can you do to attract a lover, friend or other supportive person into your life?
  • Does my financial situation reflect my values? If not, what can I do to improve or change my financial situation?

March 2: Sun Square Jupiter at 12 Degrees Pisces/Gemini. The Sun square Jupiter infuses us with a sense of optimism and confidence. However, it can also bring overconfidence, overoptimism and overload. The warning is that too much of anything can be problematic. Be wary of doing too much and vow to listen to, and honor,  others’ opinions under Sun square Jupiter.

March 3: Mercury Enters Aries. Mercury in Aries speeds up your thought processes and your communications. Your mind may be revved up like a race car, and your words rush out before the brain is engaged. Take part in physical activity to slow your racing mind. Mercury in Aries is ideal for thinking up new ideas. Jot such ideas down, or you may forget them under this supercharged energy.

March 5: Mercury Sextile Pluto at 3 Degrees Aries/Aquarius. There may be lots of talk (Mercury) about deep psychological ideas and issues (Pluto) when Mercury is sextile Pluto. Mental health breakthroughs may be in the news now.

March 8: Sun Trine Mars at 17 Degrees Pisces/Cancer. It’s hard to sit still when the Sun is trine Mars. You want to take action and make things happen. Sun trine Mars brings problem-solving ability and the potential for big accomplishment. You may be more reactive now, so count to 10 before engaging in conflict.

March 11: Mercury Conjunct Venus at 8 Degrees Aries. Social (Venus) conversations (Mercury) easily flow now and there is a spirit of compromise and agreement in the air. This is an optimum time for a gathering with your friends or for other social events.

March 12: Sun Conjunct Saturn at 22 Degrees Pisces, Sextile Uranus at 24 Degrees Taurus. Whereas Sun square Jupiter on the 2nd brought a sense of optimism and invincibility, the Sun conjunct Saturn brings you down to earth. Saturn is reality, restriction, discipline and rationality. Though you may be prone to feeling limited, depressed and fearful now, the Sun conjunct Saturn is excellent for sound judgment, steady accomplishment and success in overcoming obstacles. Patience is the key to overcoming any obstacles.

March 14: Full Moon Total Lunar Eclipse at 24 Degrees Virgo at 1:54 AM EST. Sun Conjunct Saturn Sextile Uranus at 24 Degrees Pisces/Taurus.

Expect the unexpected with the Sun and Saturn sextile Uranus. Use the few days before and after this Virgo Lunar Eclipse to:

  • Declutter and organize your physical surroundings.
  • Release old habits and routines that are no longer useful.
  • Detox and release old emotional hurts, grudges and traumas.
  • Trust your intuition and honor your dreams.
  • Practice inner peace.

March 15: Mercury Stations Retrograde at 9 Degrees Taurus. Use Mercury retrograde in Taurus to take another look at your finances and to prepare a new budget. It is a good time to take a personal finance or investing class. Because Taurus rules both money and love, Mercury retrograde in Taurus may bring old relationships to the fore. Unresolved issues with past relationships or money matters. may pop up again, giving you another chance for a permanent resolution. You will begin to see the positive results from the changes you made when Mercury turns direct on April 7.

March 19: Sun Conjunct Neptune at 29 Degrees Pisces. Your intuition, imagination and creativity are soaring to new heights now. Record your dreams and ideas. When the Sun enters Aries tomorrow, you can begin to implement the best of those ideas.

March 20: Sun Enters Aries. Each year there is a big shift when the Sun enters Aries. The Sun in Pisces for the last month was focused on feelings of compassion, and connection to your fellow earth inhabitants. When the Sun is in Aries, action, agression and competition predominate. It is time to fight for your beliefs.

March 21-25: Sun Conjunct Venus and Sextile Pluto at 3 Degrees Aries/Aquarius. As the Sun moves through the sky, it conjuncts Venus, and then Mercury and then all three of them form a sextile to Pluto. Look for intense interactions (Pluto) with others of like mind (Aquarius). Your survival needs are amplified now (Pluto) and you are ready to fight (Aries) for what you love and value (Venus.)

March 27: Venus Retrogrades Into Pisces and Conjuncts Neptunes at Zero Degrees Pisces. Things and people may not be what they appear to be when Venus moves backward to conjunct Neptune in Pisces. This would be a good time to enjoy a concert, film or candle light meditation session. Set your new Moon intentions now while your intuition and sensitivity are heightened.

March 29: New Moon Partial Solar Eclipse at 9 Degrees Aries at 5:57 AM EST. Saturn Sextile Uranus at 24 Degrees Pisces/Taurus.  The New Moon is always symbolic of new beginnings. The New Moon Solar Eclipse in Aries is especially geared toward big shifts and startling new beginnings. It’s time to forge a new path despite the obstacles and challenges around you. Saturn sextile Uranus fosters exciting, unexpected breakthroughs (Uranus) with the potential to manifest, due to Saturn’s steadying influence.

March 29-30: Neptune Enters Aries, Conjunct Mercury at Zero Degrees Aries. Neptune’s historical entry into Aries brings a compassionate, gentle strength combined with courage and activism with the desire to make a difference in the world. The last time Neptune was at zero degrees Aries was in 1861 at the time of the US Civil War. Neptune will be in Aries until early spring of 2039. Here are some things to look for when Neptune is in Aries.

  • Crumbling and dissolving of old structures.
  • Expansion into wider, more multi-dimensional consciousness.
  • Old politics, economies and religions fall away – they struggle to maintain their power base.
  • Young people take over with new ideas and new problem- solving methods.
  • Your identity and sense of self becomes more empathetic and intuitive.
  • New understandings about mental health, the human brain and psyche, drugs, addictions, illness, neurological discoveries, medicine.
  • Artistic and creative endeavors will thrive.
  • More water events: floods, water purification methods, etc. Water will definitely be in the news.

Astrology Transits February 2025 – Connection

Image from 123rtf

True spirituality is to be aware that if we are interdependent with everything and everyone else, even our smallest, least significant thoughts, words and actions have real consequences throughout the universe. -Sogyal Rinpoche

The month of February, with the emphasis on Aquarius and then Pisces, is about connection, cooperation, friendship, and groups. When Pluto entered Aquarius earlier this year, it set the stage for the next 20 years. Individuals and nations are all struggling to embrace new, cooperative worldviews in the midst of some of the most challenging times in history.

It is good to remember that the slow-moving planets (Pluto, Neptune, Uranus and Saturn) set up the conditions. It then takes time for the faster-moving planets to connect with the slower planets in order to trigger something new. This is also very true of full moons, new moons and eclipses. I want everyone to remember that we are in the very beginning of a long, tedious process of change toward a more loving, compassionate way of being. February’s planetary movement gives us a glimpse of what can be.

The chaos that we now see is the Universe’s way of clearing out the old, outworn ideas. It’s not pretty, but it’s necessary in the larger, evolutionary sense. When you start to feel despondent and hopeless with everything you hear in the news, please try to put it into context. Goodness will prevail, but we need to be very patient and to do what we can to foster connection no matter how small of an act that might be. The planet’s movement through Aquarius and then Pisces will help us with that.

February 1: Uranus Turns Direct at 23 Degrees Taurus. Unpredictable Uranus direct in Taurus unleashes the ability to revamp your financial patterns, revisit your security needs, and to revitalize your approach to money and possessions.

February 3: Venus Conjunct Neptune and North Node at 28-29 Degrees Pisces. Mars Square Chiron at 29 Degrees Cancer/Aries. Use Venus conjunct Neptune and the North Node to tune into your true desires. Because the North Node energy feels foreign to us, you may need to push back against old habits to fully use this energy. Retrograde Mars in the moody sign of Cancer will tend toward defensiveness and brooding rather than confronting and resolving issues. Mars square Chiron will either bring out anger around the things that wounded you in the past, or will help you take action towards healing those wounds. It’s okay to feel anger, but to be productive, you must then go deep within (Neptune) to heal that anger.

February 4: Venus Enters Aries. Venus in Aries until June 6 energizes you and you feel the need to be more adventurous and impulsive in matters related to relationships and money. While Venus in Aries is excellent for bringing excitement back into your life, it has its less advantageous side. Use Venus in Aries to take small risks and to meet new people, go new places and, generally, be more adventurous. Just be careful not to become too pushy to those around you.

February 4: Jupiter Stations Direct at 11 Degrees Gemini. When Jupiter turns direct, we can actually feel the change in the atmosphere. Business interactions begin to move forward and a feeling of optimism permeates the air. You may find your words and conversations turning to what is possible, instead of what you had perceived to be impossible. That is especially true today, when Jupiter is trine Mercury in air signs Gemini and Aquarius.

February 7: Sun and Mercury Quincunx Mars at 18 Degrees Aquarius/Cancer. You might feel a little out of sorts today when the Sun and Mercury are conjunct and in a quincunx aspect to Mars. You know an adjustment (quincunx) needs to be made, but you don’t feel ready to act just yet. Watch your communication as you may come across as angrier and/or more frustrated than you intended.

February 7: Venus Sextile Pluto at 2 Degrees Aries/Aquarius. A little push or intensity (Pluto) can go a long way now. Don’t belabor a point, but state your case and let it go, especially when interacting with friends or loved ones (Venus). When used in a positive way, Venus sextile Pluto can help you accomplish much more than usual.

February 8-9: Sun and Mercury at 19 Degrees Aquarius Sextile Chiron at 19 Degrees Aries. The Sun and Mercury conjunct in Aquarius stimulate your mind and provide an ideal time to write and to discuss ideas with others. Indeed, any form of communication is favored. The Sun and Mercury in an air sign and Chiron in a fire sign helps you process old wounds in a non-emotional way.

February 9: Mars Trine Saturn at 18 Degrees Cancer/Pisces. Mars trine Saturn is an auspicious time to accomplish those things that require discipline and persistence. You may not see results immediately, because Mars is still retrograde. However, any delays will prove to be beneficial.

February 9-11: Sun and Mercury Square Uranus at 23 Degrees Aquarius/Taurus. It’s best to refrain from discussing politics or religion when the Sun and Mercury are square Uranus. Both sides in any discussion will have a tendency to hold rigid and/or radical views. In addition, the Sun square Uranus triggers restless feelings that can lead to the need for rebellion and revolt.

February 12: Full Moon at 24 Degrees Leo at 8:53 AM EST. This Leo Full Moon is charged and full of tension due to the T-square of the Sun, Moon and Uranus. Your nervous system is on high alert and your impatience is elevated and ready to erupt at any time. Retrograde Mars in Cancer square Chiron only adds to the stress, as it may result in a feeling of anger towards past hurts and grievances. You can best navigate this Full Moon in Leo by engaging in active sports or physically taxing work. The Leo energy also favors any type of creative activity.

February 14: Mercury Enters Pisces. Mercury in Pisces brings a lovely energy to your Valentine’s Day celebration. When in Pisces, Mercury becomes more romantic, dreamy and intuitive. Mercury is in Pisces until March 3rd.

February 18: Sun Enters Pisces. The Sun in Pisces until March 20 is geared more toward introspection, intuition, spirituality and seculsion than overt accomplishment. Becausee Pisces is the last sign of the zodiac, it urges us to take some quiet time. The quiet Sun in Pisces helps us prepare for the new beginnings and high activity level of the Sun when it enters Aries on March 20. Your creativity and intuition may be at an all time high, especially if you have planets in any of the water signs (Pisces, Cancer and Scorpio). Be wary of a tendency toward escapism and the tendency to look at the world with rose colored glasses.

February 20: Sun at 2 Degrees Pisces Sesiquiquadrate Retrograde Mars at 17 Degrees Cancer. Mercury Square Jupiter at 11 Degrees Pisces/Gemini. Be wary of grandiose and/or unrealistic ideas when Mercury is square Jupiter. The Sun sesiquiqu8adrate Mars brings a sense of agittaion without a known cause. Thankfully, it’s a short-lived aspect.

February 22: Neptune Conjunct North Node at 28 Degrees Pisces Opposing South Node at 28 Degrees Virgo. When Neptune is in aspect to the Nodes, its time to pay attention to your life purpose. Ask yourself: “Are you moving toward your right livilihood or are you just drifting along (Neptune) doing what seems to be easiest?”.

February 23: Mars Stations Direct at 17 Degrees Cancer. Let the action begin! Everything that has felt sluggish and mired in quicksand will now come to life. Though we will all feel the change as Mars ends its retrograde period, those with mid to late degrees of the cardinal signs (Cancer, Libra, Capricorn and Aries) will feel it the most. Dust off and implement any plans or projects that you put aside, as you can now make significant progress.

February 27: New Moon at 9 Degrees 40 Minutes Pisces. Mercury Sextile Uranus at 23 Degrees Pisces/Taurus. This magical New Moon in Pisces is especially tuned to music, water and all matter of artistic and creative work. Pay attention to the subtle and intuitive insights you get at this time. This Pisces New Moon is particularly beneficial to those who are doing spiritual and/or healing work, both individually and professionally. Mercury sextile Uranus opens the floodgates to let unusual, innovative ideas flow in. Ask for divine guidance during this auspicious New Moon.

March 1: Venus Stations Retrograde at 10 Degrees Aries. Old relationship issues, or even old relationships may appear when Venus is in retrograde motion until April 13. Use this time to evaluate your values and your relationship expectations.

Interesting astrological insight that came across my news feed today from Time Magazine: “New studies on samples from the asteroid Bennu found that the samples contained the precursors to life in a watery environment and DNA and RNA, suggesting similar asteroids were the building blocks of life on Earth.” I have always felt that the reason astrology works is because our DNA is connected to the planets, asteroids and other heavenly bodies as part of the divine plan. This could confirm that notion. I would love to hear your thoughts.
