Astrology Transits February 2026 – Dreaming in a New Reality

Image by Gerd Altmann from Pixabay

We all have an obligation to daydream. We have an obligation to imagine. It is easy to pretend that nobody can change anything, that society is huge and the individual is less than nothing. But the truth is individuals make the future, and they do it by imagining that things can be different. ── Neil Gaiman

NOTE: I wrote this newsletter before the extremely disturbing events in Minneapolis and thought that I might need to revise it. However, reading it over once again before posting it, I believe that the energy is as I have stated. Of course, no one can predict exactly what will happen, I can only talk about and predict the energy as I see it, not the outcomes from that energy. Now, more than ever, it is crucially important to stay grounded (Saturn), take action and dream a new reality for peace (Neptune). Year 2026 is a watershed year. Let’s all be part of the solution by staying focused, while imagining a more loving and peaceful world.

There is nothing shy, quiet or boring about the planetary energy in February. Rather, the energy is intense, charged and unpredictable.  February promises to be an important month as it brings several profound, even life-changing, aspects to the forefront. February starts with Mercury, Sun, Venus, Mars and Pluto all transiting in Aquarius. Revolution is in the air for sure. We are no longer feeling content to go along to get along. Rather, we are feeling the need to let our voice be heard (Mercury), about our ideals (Venus) in a sometimes overly aggressive (Mars) or overly controlling (Pluto) way. Expect the unexpected!

  • February 1: A full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Leo opposing the Sun in Aquarius.
  • February 4: Uranus turns direct at 27 degrees Taurus
  • February 6: Mercury enters Pisces
  • February 10: Venus enters Pisces
  • February 14: Saturn enters Aries
  • February 17: New Moon Solar Eclipse at 29 degrees Aquarius
  • February 17: Astrological Year of the Chinese Fire Horse begins
  • February 20: Saturn Conjunct Neptune in Aries
  • February 26-27: Mercury turns Retrograde at 22 degrees Pisces.

Also noteworthy is the upcoming movement of Neptune and Saturn into Aries. That conjunction marks a major astrological shift affecting all of year 2026. I will discuss this conjunction and other astrological events at my talk at A Spiritual Center at the Third Street Center, Room 31, in Carbondale, CO on February 1 at 10:00 AM. I would love to have you attend if you are able.

February 1: Full Moon in Leo at 13 Degrees Leo. Its time to confidently express yourself when the full Moon occurs in Leo. The Sun in Aquarius in opposition to the Moon in Leo urges you to honor your own individuality versus the needs of the group or collective. Honor your uniqueness, while working with the group or collective to bring about the desired changes.

February 4: Uranus Turns Direct at 27 Degrees Taurus. Uranus direct in Taurus continues its theme of bringing change, innovation and new ideas around your relationship with nature, finances and personal values. Uranus remains in Taurus until April 26 when it enters Gemini, where it will stay for the next seven years.

February 5: Sun Quincunx Jupiter at 16 Degrees Aquarius/Cancer. The Sun quincunx Jupiter brings an overly optimistic mindset and an overly stimulated mind. An adjustment needs to be made in what can, or should, be accomplished in the next day or two. Be wary of expecting too much from family members (Jupiter in Cancer) during this time.

February 6: Mercury Enters Pisces. Mercury is considered to be debilitated in Pisces as Mercury in Pisces can lead to hazy, unfocused communication. However, it is highly beneficial for compassionate, empathetic, intuitive thoughts and communication and for all creative endeavors.

February 8: Venus Square Uranus at 27 Degrees Aquarius/Taurus. Avoid any charged inter-personal interactions now as Venus square Uranus can bring impatience and a tendency to get involved in arguments out of a sense of boredom.  Similarly, avoid spending money, as impulsive purchases are common under this aspect.

February 10: Venus Enters Pisces. Venus is in its exaltation when it is in Pisces. Venus, the planet of blessings received, brings expanded spirituality, compassion and selfless unconditional love. Venus in Pisces is beneficial for creative pursuits and emotional connections of all kinds.

February 12 Mars Quincunx Jupiter at 16 Degrees Aquarius/Cancer. Thank goodness Mars quincunx Jupiter only lasts for a short time! Mars stimulates an agitated combination of high, aggressive energy (Mars) combined with overwhelming idealism and rigid beliefs (Jupiter). This aspect can be helpful to bring about change, but it can quickly escalate into unwanted outcomes.   Practice calm and peace, while taking steps to change what is no longer working.

February 14: Saturn Enters Aries. Saturn in Aries until April 2028 marks the start of a new 29-year Saturn cycle. Saturn in Aries favors building sold foundations through bold, self-reliant growth. Aries brings ambition, while Saturn urges responsibility and clear-headed assessment before impulsively acting. Saturn will remain in Aries for approximately 2-1/2 years.

February 15-16: Sun Square Uranus at 27 Degrees Aquarius/Taurus. You may be feeling a little restless and bored when the Sun is square Uranus. Relationships are difficult now because of ego conflicts and disagreements. Avoid dangerous situations and impulsive actions. Instead, stay grounded and let yourself imagine new possibilities. This aspect can bring unusual, sometimes brilliant, insights.

February 17: New Moon Solar Eclipse at 29 Degrees Aquarius at 7:01 AM.  This special Aquarius New Moon Solar Eclipse occurs at the “anaretic degree” or “degree of fate.”. It marks a critical point of culmination and the end of a cycle. It often brings major turning points indicating a need to let go of old grudges, traumas and outworn attitudes and to embrace the new, dynamic energy. This Aquarius Solar Eclipse coincides with the beginning of the year of the Fire Horse in Chinese astrology. Both the Aquarius Solar Eclipse and the Chinese Fire Horse bring in themes around radical change, community, technology, innovation and brave new paths forward.

February 18-19: Sun Enters Pisces. Sun at 1 Degree Pisces Sesiquiquadrate Jupiter at 16 Degrees Cancer. The Sun moving into Pisces temporarily lowers the intensity, though Saturn conjunct Neptune brings a huge shift that you may already be feeling. Use the Sun in Pisces to deepen your spiritual practice, which will assist you in navigating the big changes coming on all levels in year 2026.

February 20: Saturn Conjunct Neptune at Zero Degrees Aries. Saturn has been near a conjunction with Neptune for the last year. The conjunction is now exact at 00 degrees Aries. Satun conjunct Neptune only happens once every 35 years and has not happened in Aries since around 593 BC. This is truly a paradigm shift of major proportions. Saturn conjunct Neptune is about manifesting our dreams through groundedness and practicality. I will discuss this conjunction and other astrological events at my talk at A Spiritual Center at the Third Street Center, Room 31, in Carbondale, CO on February 1. I would love to have you attend if you are able.

February 22: Venus Trine Jupiter at 15 Degrees Pisces/Cancer. Enjoy this lovely Venus trine Jupiter aspect until February 26. This is absolutely the best aspect for manifesting your dreams and desires. Venus relates to “blessings received,” while Jupiter relates to “abundance.” Venus in Pisces brings high intuition and connection to unsee realms. It lifts the veil between the worlds. Jupiter in Cancer adds the emotion needed to turn your desires into reality.

February 26: Mercury Stationary Retrograde at 22 Degrees Pisces. Mercury retrograde in Pisces until March 20 gives you a chance to realign yourself with your spiritual beliefs, your compassion (or lack of compassion) for the fellow inhabitants of Mother Earth and your ability to use intuition and creativity in your daily life.

February 27-28: Mercury Conjunct Venus at 22 Degrees Pisces. Mars Square Uranus at 27 Degrees Aquarius/Taurus. Mercury conjunct Venus is a positive aspect that brings a gentler, more loving and caring tone to your communications. However, Mars square Uranus is a volatile, unpredictable, restless energy, so caution is advised. Impulsive, even dangerous, actions, technical glitches and careless accidents are possible. Slow down and use Mercury conjunct Venus in Pisces to commune with your inner spirt.

Astrology Transits January 2026 – Dreaming in a New Reality

“The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.” ─ Eleanor Roosevelt

The planets are on the move as January brings in the New Year and our aspirations, dreams, wishes and fears shift under the hope for a new and better 2026 calendar year. Several planets change sign during January, which brings a decidedly different energy dynamic as January unfolds.

  • Mercury enters Capricorn on January 1
  • Venus enters Aquarius on January 17
  • Sun enters Aquarius on January 19
  • Mercury enters Aquarius on January 20
  • Mars enters Aquarius on January 23
  • Neptune enters Aries on January 26
  • Saturn enters Aries on February 14

If that isn’t enough, we have the Sun, Venus and Mercury moving toward a conjunction with Mars between January 6 and 18, when all four will be in a Capricorn stellium to be joined by the Moon on the 17th.

But wait, there’s more!

Consider that this is a rather rare happening. The last time these four planets were in a Grand Conjunction together was in August 1987, when they were tightly conjunct Jupiter and Neptune (also later joined by the Moon). August 16-17,1987 was the date of the Astrological Harmonic Convergence, the world’s first synchronized global peace meditation. It was expected that the exceptional planetary alignment would bring a great shift in the earth’s energy that would bring healing to the false structures of separation. Though the year 1987 was not all peace and light, it did bring significant political shifts, including President Reagan’s challenge to Russian president Gorbachev to tear down the Berlin wall (the INF Treaty was signed later).

Also noteworthy is the upcoming movement of Neptune and Saturn into Aries. That conjunction marks a major astrological shift affecting all of year 2026. I will discuss this conjunction and other astrological events for the first 6 months of 2026 at my talk at A Spiritual Center at the Third Street Center, Room 31, in Carbondale, CO on February 1 at 10:00 AM. We truly are starting to move into a new energetic realm. I would love to see you then if you are able to attend.

January 1: Mercury Enters Capricorn and Squares Neptune at 29 Degrees Pisces. Mars at 13 Degrees Capricorn Sesiquiquadrate Uranus at 28 Degrees Taurus. Things are not as they seem today. Mercury square Neptune can bring communication confusion or misunderstandings. Mars in unfavorable aspect to Uranus lends a possibility of anger, danger or accidental events. Thankfully, this aspect will only last a day or two.

January 3: Full Moon at 13 Degrees Cancer. Sun, Venus and Mars Conjunct at 12-14 Degrees Capricorn Sesiquiquadrate Uranus at 28 Degrees Taurus. The Full Moon in Cancer is an exceptionally emotional Moon that favors internal reflection and the willingness to let go of those people and places that no longer bring you joy. Conversely, this Moon favors spending time with family and friends that nurture you and give you a sense of security. The Sun, Venus and Mars sesiquiquadrate Uranus brings a touch of unease and rebelliousness that helps you make the needed changes.

January 9-10: Sun, Venus, and Mars Conjunct at 19-20 Capricorn Opposition Jupiter at 21 Degrees Cancer. A Venus and Mars conjunction is considered auspicious, as it brings passion and creativity to all your endeavors and heightens romance. The Sun enhances that creativity, while the opposition to Jupiter is a cautionary signal to not overdo the passionate Sun, Venus, Mars energy.

January 12-13: Sun and Mars at 22 Degrees Capricorn Square Chiron at 22 Degrees Aries. Your ambition and sense of self are amplified when the Sun and Mars are in Capricorn. The square to Chiron in Aries triggers old false stories of “do I really dare to think I could have that?” This is a good time to throw off old shackles of doubt.

January 15: Venus at 27 Degrees Capricorn Trine Uranus at 27 Taurus and Sextile Saturn at 27 Pisces. Venus trine Uranus sometimes brings an exciting, creative project or an encounter with someone unusual. Venus sextile Saturn helps you realistically evaluate any new opportunities or relationships.

January 17: Venus Enters Aquarius. Sun Sextile Saturn at 27 Degrees Capricorn/Pisces. Sun Trine Uranus at 27 Degrees Capricorn/Taurus. Venus in Aquarius until the end of February broadens your relationship and friendship horizons. You may feel more open-minded and will seek out new friends that are different or are mentally stimulating. Your desire to help others and your creative vision expands into unknown venues or subjects.

January 18: New Moon at 29 Degrees Capricorn at 2:51 PM EST. I love the symbolism of the New Moon in the last degree of Capricorn that includes a rolling stellium composed of Mars, Mercury, Venus and Pluto (Venus and Pluto in Aquarius). The old, traditional way of thinking (Capricorn) is making way for the startling new energy of Aquarius. Also note, Saturn direct is moving towards its history-making conjunction with Neptune that will happen on February 14, 2026. It is time to dream a new future (Neptune) with boundaries and guidelines to protect you (Saturn and Capricorn stellium).

January 19: Sun Sextile Neptune at 29 Degrees Capricorn/Pisces. Sun Enters Aquarius at 8:44 PM EST. Venus Conjunct Pluto at 3 Degrees Aquarius. There is mixed bag of energies today. The Sun sextile Neptune expands your creative, compassionate and spiritual vision. However, Venus conjunct Pluto sometimes leads to disagreements and power struggles with those around you. Spend more time doing creative endeavors and less time trying to oversee what others are doing and this should be a happy, productive time.

January 20: Saturn Sextile Uranus at 27 Degrees Pisces/Taurus. Mars at 27 Degrees Capricorn, Trine Uranus at 27 Taurus and Mars Sextile Saturn at 27 Degrees Pisces. Uranus is activated by both Saturn and Mars, which is a bit of conflicting energy. Saturn urges caution on making changes too fast, while Mars says, “go, go, go” Overall, this is a helpful transit as it favors more action with less mindless reaction.

January 21: Sun, Mercury and Pluto Conjunct at 1-3 Degrees Aquarius. The Sun, Mercury and Pluto conjunct in the early degrees of Aquarius are a potent reminder that a new identify change (Sun), a new way of thinking and talking (Mercury) and the power to make unprecedented changes are moving into the spotlight. We must now adapt to the new energy or be left behind.

January 23: Mars Enters Aquarius. Mars Sextile Neptune. Sun Conjunct Pluto at 3 Degrees Aquarius. Mars in Aquarius until March 2nd, fires up innovative thinking, humanitarian efforts and a desire to throw off old restrictions. Aquarius is the sign of freedom and when energized by Mars, the planet of action, expect unexpected breakthroughs and discoveries. You may be feeling more rebellious at this time.

January 26: Neptune Enters Aries. Neptune retrograded back into Pisces through most of the fall months. Now, as it moves into Aries, it is starting a new 14-year cycle. Neptune loved being in Pisces, its home sign, but it was mostly acting behind the scenes. Now in Aries, Neptune is forced to make itself known in a more straight-forward and aggressive way. This is a time of spiritual idealism (Neptune) combined with fiery action (Aries). Beginning now, and during the next 14 years, is the time to turn your dreams into reality. Let go of fuzzy thinking and excuses and proceed boldly. However, you do need to be careful not to act without thinking.

January 27: Mars Conjunct Pluto at 3 Degrees Aquarius. Venus at 15 Degrees Aquarius Sesiquiquadrate Saturn at 28 Degrees Pisces. Mars conjunct Pluto brings an abundance of energy and intensity. Be careful that you direct your efforts into positive pursuits rather than questionable aggressive and/or controlling activities.

Astrology Transits November 2025 – Transformation with Love

Image from 123rf.com

Things falling apart is a kind of testing and also a kind of healing. We think that the point is to pass the test or to overcome the problem, but the truth is that things don’t really get solved. They come together and they fall apart. Then they come together again and fall apart again. It’s just like that. The healing comes from letting there be room for all of this to happen: room for grief, for relief, for misery, for joy. ─ Pema Chodron, When Things Fall Apart.

November begins with the emphasis in the sign of Scorpio. We are asked to wade through the deep, dense, emotional, mysterious waters of Scorpio. The shift from the polite, balanced, nice, more superficial Libran energy into the darker sojourn into our shadow side can be upsetting and scary at first. However, it is part of our life journey. As the Pema Chodron quote above states, the healing comes from letting things come together and also letting them fall part again. Scorpio is the sign of transformation ─ moving from a stagnant position to a whole new realm of being.

One of the reasons I love astrology is that it helps us see that nothing lasts forever. Even when we are going through really rough times, we can look ahead and see when things will shift towards an easier, more joyful time. I remember many years ago when Pluto transited my Sun. Pluto transiting your Sun, Moon or ascendant is a time of deep transformation. Necessary, but usually not fun. In the depths of despair, I looked ahead and saw that Pluto would be transiting my Sun for around two years. Two years seems like a really long time. However, it gave me hope, because I knew that I could stand it for two years by getting through one day at a time. Then, like clockwork, everything began to ease and hope and optimism returned. My life was better than ever and has remained so through the ongoing ups and owns that is called “life.”

The Sun is in Pluto’s realm (Scorpio) from October 23 through November 22, along with Venus after November 7, and also Mercury as it retrogrades back into Scorpio on November 18. Use this Scorpio energy for your personal Hero’s Journey. The alchemical Scorpio energy will assist in exposing unhelpful attitudes and self-destructive behavior. It excels in bringing things to light so they can be transmuted into a more light-filled way of being.

November 2-3: Sun at 10 Degrees Scorpio Sesiquiquadrate Saturn at 25 Degrees Pisces. Venus Opposition Chiron at 24 Degrees Libra/Aries. Venus Square Jupiter at 25 Degrees Libra/Cancer. Venus Quincunx Saturn at 25 Degrees Libra/Pisces. Mars Trine Neptune at 29 Degrees Scorpio/Pisces. There is a lot going on in the sky the first week in November. The Sun in a harsh aspect to Saturn reminds us to honor our responsibilities. Then, Venus’ connection to Chiron, Jupiter and Saturn urges us to move beyond old issues (Chiron), but to do so in a serious (Saturn), yet optimistic way (Jupiter). It is an excellent time to make those tough decisions that you have been putting off.

November 4: Mars Enters Sagittarius and Opposes Uranus at 0 Degrees Sagittarius/Gemini. Mars in Sagittarius brings out your competitive warrior spirit. Mars opposition Uranus sparks an active, rebellious, adventuresome dynamic. Mars opposition Uranus brings energy and inspiration, but also impulsiveness. Be careful not to scatter your energy and to think before you act.

November 5-6: Full Moon at 12 Degrees Taurus.

Sun at 14 Scorpio Sesiquiquadrate Neptune at 29 Degrees Pisces.

Venus Quincunx Neptune at 29 Degrees Libra/Pisces.

Venus enters Scorpio at 6:39 PM EST

Venus Quincunx Uranus at 0 Degrees Scorpio/Gemini.

This Full Moon in Taurus has a distinct Venusian flavor, because the sign of Taurus is ruled by Venus. Venus in the Full Moon chart is quincunx Neptune, bringing a nebulous, spiritual quality to the practical Taurus Full Moon. Use this energy to re-evaluate your finances. Ask yourself: Is my financial life in tune with my spiritual aspirations and goals? Taurus is a Venus-ruled sign that puts the spotlight on relationships, security, finances and nature. Every Full Moon is a time of letting go of the mental, emotional and physical clutter of the previous 30 days. Use this time to evaluate your financial holdings, your value system, and your relationship to Mother Nature.

November 7: Venus Square Pluto at 1 Degree Scorpio/Aquarius. Uranus Retrogrades Back into Taurus. Your interactions with others may feel more intense when Venus is square Pluto. You may also become more aware of the imperfections of those around you. Use this time to change what can be changed and to accept the rest. However, major relationship issues will need to be addressed when the planet of love (Venus) meets the planet of transformation (Pluto).

November 9: Mercury Retrograde at 6 Degrees Sagiottarius. Mercury turns retrograde in Sagittarius. It will move back into Scorpio on November 19 and finally turns direct on November 29 at 20 degrees Scorpio.

November 11: Jupiter Retrograde at 25 Degrees Cancer. Jupiter retrograde in Cancer gives you a chance to re-evaluate your familty connections and to re-assess how you nurture others and how you wish to be nurtured. You might want to look at any imbalances in how your family perceives you versus your true self. Jupiter here asks the question: “How have I underestimated myself?” Jupiter resumes forward motion on March 12, 2026,

November 17: Grand Trine with Sun at 25 Degrees Scorpio Trine Jupiter at 25 Degrees Cancer and Saturn at 25 Degrees Pisces. You should be able to accomplish a lot under this Grand Trine of Sun, Jupiter and Saturn. The Sun furnishes energy, Jupiter brings optimism and Saturn brings responsibility and the desire to stick to the task until completed.

November 18: Mercury Enters Scorpio. Venus at 14 Degrees Scorpio Trine the North Nodes at 14 Degrees Pisces. Venus at 14 Degrees Scorpio Sesiquiquadrate Neptune at 29 Degrees Pisces. Mars at 10 Degrees Sagittarius Sesiquiquadrate Jupiter at 25 Degrees Cancer. Venus enters Scorpio and is busy, busy, busy. It’s a great time to re-evaluate your life direction when Venus is trine the North Node. Venus sesiquiquadrate Neptune invites you to light some candles and quiet the mind. The answers to your problems can be found within.

November 20: New Moon Conjunct Sun and Mercury at 28 Degrees Scorpio Opposing Uranus at 28 Degrees Taurus. It’s time to get real, to delve deeply into your own desires and to transform (Scorpio) those things that are no longer working. You may need to have that hard conversation with someone (Mercury conjunction) to clear the air and to then let go of old negative feelings and resentments. Uranus in opposition breaks chains. Ask yourself whether you want to make a choice or to let fate make the choice for you. This New Moon in Scorpio can be wonderfully liberating if handled wisely.

November 21: Sun Opposition Uranus at 29 Degrees Scorpio/Taurus. Sun Trine Neptune at 29 Degrees Scorpio/Pisces. The Sun opposition Uranus in the fixed signs of Scorpio and Taurus can stir up some chaos around you. Digging in your heels and refusing to change or compromise will only accelerate the disorder and confusion.

November 21: Sun Enters Sagittarius at 9:35 PM EST. Spirits are lifted and optimism returns when the Sun leaves the serious, transformative sign of Scorpio and enters Sagittarius. Sagittarius is ruled by Jupiter and, thus, has an optimistic, curious, energetic vibe.

November 26: Grand Trine with Venus (and Mercury), Jupiter and Saturn. Venus at 24 Degrees Scorpio Trine Jupiter in Cancer and Trine Saturn in Pisces. Venus and Mercury conjunct and both trine Jupiter and trine Saturn are such a lovely combination just in time for the Thanksgiving holiday celebration. Venus, Mercury and Jupiter bring lots of positive (Jupiter) talk (Mercury) among those you love (Venus). Saturn brings the boundaries to keep you from over indulging or from going too far or too controversial in your conversations. Enjoy!

November 28: Saturn turns Direct at 25 Degrees Pisces. The pace will pick up once Saturn regains full forward motion, particularly around business and health matters. It also signals the need to take more responsibility (Saturn) regarding your spirituality and creative endeavor (Pisces). Saturn moving direct will make an important conjunction with Neptune on February 14, 2026.

November 29-30: Venus at 29 Degrees Scorpio Opposition Uranus at 29 Degrees Taurus (Retrograde) and Trine Neptune at 29 Degrees Pisces.

Mercury Stations Direct at 20 Degrees Scorpio.

Venus Enter Sagittarius on November 30.

This time period begins with an unsettled, intense need to express rebellious (Uranus) feelings, along with a strong need to escape (Neptune). The somewhat crazy feeling should smooth out when Venus enters Sagittarius at the end of the month. It might be fun now to plan your next vacation since Sagittarius rule travel, mind expansion and adventurous trips.

Astrology Transits October 2025 – Connection and Equilibrium

Image by Teuvo Uusitalo from Pixabay

The Universe is one being. Everyone and everything are interconnected through an invisible web of stories. Whether we are aware of it or not, we are all in silent conversation. ─ Rumi

The Solar Eclipse and Autumn Equinox on September 21 brought a turning point. The autumn season began at the Equinox when the Sun moved from Virgo to Libra and the Libra air energy replaced the Virgo earth energy. October starts with several planets in Libra with the theme of balance, harmony, partnership, and equilibrium. It is about finding the common thread between all things, whether the threads of a spiderweb or the connection to all your fellow earth inhabitants, including human, animal, plant or rock.

The sign of Libra is ruled by the planet Venus, so the Venusian energy is pronounced this month until the 22 of October when the Sun moves into Scorpio. Mercury is also prominent in this month’s forecast. It is an exceptional month. Not because of an abundance of concerning planetary energy, but because of an abundance of milder, but short-lived transits of Mercury and Venus. While we are still challenged by the outer planet transits and some rather volatile energy at the end of the month, we have two weeks of Venusian energy aiding our return to equilibrium and a more loving vibe.

When the Sun moves into Scorpio on October 23, everything will become more intense and emotional. Though the news will continue to be full of shocking and concerning sound bites due to the outer planet transits and the planetary Scorpio energy, it is important to keep your balance and remember that we are all connected.

October 1-2: Mercury square Jupiter at 22 Degrees Libra/Cancer. Venus at 15 Degrees Virgo Sesiquiquadrate Pluto at 1 Degree Aquarius. Mercury square Jupiter stimulates a love of learning, travel and new horizons. Just be aware that Venus sesiquiquadrate Pluto brings a certain intensity to your interactions with others. This is not the best time to argue about deeply held beliefs.

October 3-4: Mercury at 25-27 Degrees Libra Opposition Chiron at 25 Aries and Quincunx Saturn at 27 Degrees Pisces RX. Memories and dreams are strong when Mercury is in opposition to Chiron. Mercury quincunx Saturn urges you to edit your thoughts to weed out the unhelpful, fearful thoughts that threaten to sabotage your peace of mind and equilibrium.

October 6: Full Moon at 14 Degrees Aries. This Aries Full Moon is known as the Harvest Moon. It is also called a Super Moon because it is closer to earth then usual and thus appears to be extra bright. An Aries Full Moon brings themes of passion, courage and release. Its purpose is to bring a new cycle into your life. Because the Moon is in opposition to the Libra Sun it is also about balancing relationship matters and easing conflicts with another about what is “fair” (Libra) and what is needed by you as an individual (Aries). Emotions (Moon) around such matters may be extra high during this Full Moon in Aries.

October 6-7: Mercury Enters Scorpio. Mercury Quincunx Neptune/Saturn Conjunction. Mercury Quincunx Uranus. Mercury Square Pluto and North Node. Mercury is very busy right now. It presents itself as rather light-hearted and sociable when in air-sign Libra. Mercury in fixed water sign Scorpio becomes much more intense. Mercury in Scorpio has a desire to delve deeply into matters and to expose secrets and hidden motives. Use Mercury’s journey through Scorpio and its square to Pluto to delve deeply into the meaning of life. Pluto deepens Mercury’s thought processes and the North Node has answers regarding the meaning of life.

October 8-9: Sun at 16 Degrees Libra Sesiquiquadrate Uranus at 1 Degree Gemini. Sun Quincunx North Node at 16 Degrees Libra/Pisces. Venus Quincunx Chiron at 25 Degrees Virgo/Aries. Mars at 12 Degrees Scorpio Sesiquiquadrate Saturn at 27 Degrees Pisces. The Sun, Venus and Mars are all making somewhat challenging aspects now, which may leave you feeling a little disgruntled and disoriented. The good news is that they all move relatively fast so the confusing feelings should be short-lived.

October 11: Venus Opposition Saturn (and Neptune) at 27 Degrees Virgo/Pisces. Venus is opposing the powerful Saturn/Neptune conjunction brining up issues around your close friendships and relationships. While this is a helpful aspect to assess those connections, it is not an ideal time to make decisions. Neptune will fog the true issues. You are prone to either over idealizing a relationship and glossing over the flaws or are prone to seeing problems where there are none. Wait until after the 18th to make any relationship decisions.

October 13-14: Venus Enters Libra and Opposes Neptune at 0 Degrees/Libra/Aries. Venus Trine Uranus at 1 Degree Libra/Gemini. Venus is at home in Libra and is strong there because she is the ruler of Libra. Venus opposing Neptune urges you to become clear on what and who you really value in your life. Venus trine Uranus can unexpectedly bring someone new and beneficial into your life.

Pluto Turns Direct at 1 Degree Aquarius. Aquarius rules the collective consciousness, peaceful endeavors and groups of all kinds. Pluto has uncovered lots of the dark side of life during its retrograde motion. Now, as it moves forward, we should all focus on overcoming that dark, concerning energy through gathering together and presenting a united voice for good.

October 17: Sun Square Jupiter at 24 Degrees Libra/Cancer. Sun Opposition Chiron at 24 Degrees Libra/Aries. The Sun square Jupiter brings a sense of optimism and energy. The Sun in Libra amplifies your sense of connection to others and Jupiter in Cancer brings a big dose of compassion and care for others. All of your endeavors are favored under this aspect so long as you don’t take on more projects than you can easily handle.

October 21: New Moon at 28 Degrees Libra. Use this peace-loving Libra New Moon to do something nice for yourself. Activities centered around beauty, social events and enjoyment of the simple things in life are favored. Special peace rituals or meditations are especially potent at the time of this New Moon in Libra.

October 22: Sun Enters Scorpio. Neptune Moves Retrograde Into Pisces. When the Sun is in Scorpio everything becomes more intense. Neptune retrogrades back into Pisces and trines the Scorpio Sun opening the door for deep spiritual insights.

October 23: Sun Quincunx Uranus at 0 Degrees Scorpio/Gemini. Sun at 0 Degrees Scorpio Sesiquiquadrate North Node at 15 Degrees Pisces. Jupiter Square Chiron at 24 Degrees Cancer/Aries. The energy today is somewhat challenging due to the Scorpio Sun in an adjustment aspect with Uranus. The Sun sesiquiquadrate the North Node calls for an internal adjustment after deep consideration. Jupiter square Chiron eases everything but amplifies the need for both external (Sun) and internal changes (Chiron). Don’t overthink things, but give yourself the gift of some alone time to navigate this growth aspect.

October 24: Sun Square Pluto at 1 Degree Scorpio/Aquarius. Mercury Trine Jupiter at 24 Degrees Scorpio/Cancer. Mercury Trine Saturn at 25 Degrees Scorpio/Pisces. Sun square Pluto in the fixed signs of Scorpio and Aquarius is the classic saying: “What happens when an immovable object meets an unstoppable force?” Mercury trine Jupiter is one of the “God is on our side” aspects. Just realize that in any disagreement you may or may not be right, but now is not the time to debate the issues.

October 29: Mercury Enters Sagittarius and Trines Neptune and Saturn at 29 Degrees Pisces and Opposes Uranus at 0 Degrees Gemini. Mars Trine Saturn at 25 Degrees Scorpio/Pisces. This is generally a good day to be out and about as your mind is clear and your brain is ready to take in all kinds of new stimuli. Mars trine Saturn gives you a burst of energy but calms down the Mercury opposition Uranus energy, which could find you over stimulated.
