June 2026 is somewhat calmer and easier than the astrological energy at the beginning of the year. Some of the outer planet challenging energy is still operating behind the scenes, but the beneficial, healing energy manifesting this month brings a welcome respite from the earlier in-your-face tension, anger and chaos.
In March and April, we had an Aries stellium, which was a time to forge ahead, leave the past behind and begin something new. Last month I talked about Uranus, the Great Awakener, moving into Gemini, which began a seven-year cycle of breakthroughs in communication, technology and medical science. Now, the June 2026 astrology continues the energy shifts and beneficial breakthroughs with movement by Venus, the planet of love and blessings received, and Jupiter, the planet of expansion, optimism and luck.
Jupiter opposition Pluto and Chiron in Taurus, urge you to let go of outdated structures and negative, limiting beliefs. Chiron in Taurus illuminates the need for trust and the release of old ideas around scarcity and lack. Jupiter trine Neptune and the Cancer energy emphasis favor a return to spirituality, compassion and care for self and others. Venus’ connections to both Pluto and Neptune (agape nonconditional love) have the power to transform (Pluto) your relationships in a deep, meaningful way.
All in all, June 2026 brings breakthroughs around healing old wounds, regaining confidence (Jupiter) and trust (Chiron in Taurus) and bringing both stability and amazing spiritual breakthroughs ((Jupiter trine Neptune).
June 1: Mercury Enters Cancer. Mercury in Cancer until August 9 is wonderful for family reunions and for communicating with your family, including your non-family “family” ─ those friends who nurture and support you. This would be a good time to go through and organize old family photos and memorabilia
June 2: Sun Sextile Saturn at 12 Degrees Gemini/Aries. The Sun sextile Saturn in air (Gemini) and fire (Aries) is excellent for accomplishment. Mental tasks requiring concentration and steady effort (Saturn) are especially favored. This is a good time to set, and begin to accomplish, long-term goals as your determination and organizational skills are in overdrive.
June 4: Mercury Square Neptune at 4 Degrees Cancer/Aries. Intuitive, right-brain thinking, imagination and creative problem solving are favored now under this short-lived aspect. Be mindful that Mercury square Neptune can also bring confusion and misunderstandings. Pick your companions carefully now as people may not be who they say they are.
June 9: Venus Conjunct Jupiter at 25 Degrees Cancer. Venus conjunct Jupiter is the “follow your bliss” aspect. Use this helpful conjunction to tune in emotionally (Cancer) to your true desires (Venus). The likelihood of manifestation is high now, so be careful what you wish for.
June 10: Mercury Square Saturn at 13 Degrees Cancer/Aries. Mercury square Saturn brings focused, realistic thinking. Be aware, however, that it can also bring narrow, judgmental thinking and limitation.
June 13: Venus Enters Leo. When I think of Venus in Leo, I think of entertainment, Hollywood, summer parties and a generally fun time. Enjoy social gatherings and a burst of creativity while Venus is in heart-centered Leo until July 9. If you have natal planets in Leo, you may find that you are receiving more compliments and positive feedback from others.
June 15: New Moon at 24 Degrees Gemini at 2:53 AM EST. Venus Sextile Uranus at 2 Degrees Leo/Gemini. The Gemini New Moon is prime energy for writing, communicating (in every way), fresh ideas and new projects. Your mind is active now and open to all kinds of intriguing thoughts and concepts. Meanwhile, Venus sextile Uranus and Venus trine Neptune bring the desire to try something new and daring (Uranus) or to just escape to a romantic island (Venus and Neptune). Keep yourself grounded, but allow yourself the freedom to explore new horizons under this lovely New Moon in Gemini.
June 17: Venus Trine Neptune at 4 Degrees Leo/Aries. Venus Opposition Pluto at 5 Degrees Leo/Aquarius. Venus trine Neptune brings a dreamy quality to the day that is excellent for artistic and spiritual endeavors. However, its best to keep your own counsel and refrain from outside interactions. You just want to relax and take it easy under Venus trine Neptune, but you are susceptible to scams, misinformation and addictive behavior. Venus in opposition to Pluto brings an overly intense vibe to your interactions with others and the likelihood of power struggles with those close to you is elevated.
June 19: Chiron Enters Taurus. Chiron shows us where we have a core wound and where we carry subconscious beliefs around the source of our wounding. When Chiron is in Taurus we are asked to examine our relationship to money, self-worth and physical safety and security. Chiron in Taurus brings out scarcity fears around poverty, loss and survival. I sometimes call Chiron in Taurus the “bag lady syndrome,” whether it is in your birth chart or when Chiron is transiting your planets. Now is an opportune time to heal those fears, due to the excellent transits of Taurus’ ruler Venus. Chiron turns retrograde on August 14 and moves back into Aries on September 18, then re-enters Taurus on April 18, 2027 giving you plenty of time to work on any subconscious “bag lady” issues.
June 21: Sun Enters Cancer. Our attention turns to family, real estate, home improvement and matters relating to nurturing. Remember: nurturing relates not only to nurturing others, receiving nurturing from others, but also to nurturing yourself. Because the sign of Cancer is strongly connected to your relationships with your parents, it would be a good time to work on any emotional family issues.
June 25: Venus Trine Saturn at 14 Degrees Leo/Aries. Sun Square Neptune at 4 Degrees Cancer/Aries. Venus trine Saturn favors taking time to look at your financial and relationship connections. Small tweaks now can have long-term favorable results. Sun square Neptune brings inspiration and intuition.
June 29: Mercury Turns Retrograde at 26 Degrees Cancer. Mercury turns retrograde until July 25, when it begins to move forward at 16 degrees Cancer. Use this time to reflect on old memories and emotional connections. Mercury retrograde in Cancer can be a time of emotional healing, though painful memories can resurface. Ask Yourself: Which experiences and attachments are worth keeping and which are best released?
You may find yourself having deep, emotional conversations with others. That can be very healing so long as you do not let yourself fall into a “poor me” trap. Consider self-care and self-nurturing as a top priority during this time.
This is not the time to make major purchases or to sign important contracts due to the strong emotions (Cancer) ruling your mind (Mercury retrograde). Instead, use this time to repair and refurbish your home.
June 29: Full Moon at 8 Degrees Capricorn at 23:56 PM EST. The Full Moon in Capricorn acts as a counterbalance to the emotional Sun in Cancer and Mercury retrograde in Cancer. Capricorn is a clear-headed earth sign focused on structure, goals, responsibility and career matters. You may find that issues around your home life in relation to your career goals need your attention at this time.
June 30: Jupiter Enters Leo. Jupiter loves being in Leo. Jupiter is an expansive, optimistic, fun-loving planet, which meshes very well with the child-like exuberance of Leo. Jupiter has a 12-year cycle, i.e. it takes it 12 years to transit the entire Zodiac. It would be interesting to look back at Jupiter’s previous journeys through Leo in 1978, 1990, 2002 and 2014 to see what happened in your life during those times. The house in your birth chart ruled by Leo will experience a little bit of extra ease, expansion and even luck during Jupiter’s transit in Leo until July 28, 2027.
