Sometimes a change of perspective is all it takes to see the light. — Dan Brown
Many of us have been in a wee bit of a downer mood during the last month(s). Venus in Scorpio, turning retrograde, has forced us to think about relationship, money and value(s) issues that we would rather not face. Old sore spots around any of those issues were brought to the forefront. We had a tendency to bring old issues up over and over. Picture a dog licking a wound until the wound begins to bleed.
That was Venus in Scorpio energy. Now as Venus turns retrograde and moves back into Libra, we have an excellent chance to rethink, redo and remedy any of the sore spots.
As the month of November progresses, first Mercury, then Jupiter, and finally the Sun enter the more light-hearted sign of Sagittarius. Our perspective shifts away from the darkness that can be part of the Scorpio energy into the more optimistic, talkative, expansive Jupiter-ruled sign of truth, adventure and higher learning.
The North and South Nodes move from Leo/Aquarius into Cancer/Capricorn (the Nodes normally travel backward through the zodiac). This is a big shift! See below.
November 1: Jupiter at 28 degrees Scorpio Trine Chiron in Pisces. Just before Jupiter leaves Scorpio, it gifts us with a lovely healing trine between Jupiter and Chiron. Jupiter in Scorpio highlights the darkness and wounds, while Chiron in Pisces is the healing energy. As I wrote this, I had the image of a rainbow in the sky as a healing covenant.
November 6, Election Day in United States.
Sun Trine Neptune at 13 degrees Scorpio/Pisces.
Mars in Aquarius Square Jupiter in Scorpio and Venus in Libra square Uranus in Aries.
Retrograde Uranus Re-enters Aries and Squares the Lunar Nodes.
No doubt about it; this will not be a boring day. Sun trine Neptune can bring confusion, delusion and illusion, but it can also re-ignite a spiritual ideal if you are ready for it. On a personal level you may feel increased imagination, empathy and creativity. Emotions will run high, especially later in the day when the Moon moves into Scorpio and joins the Sun as a New Moon. The general meaning of a New Moon is for a new beginning. Set your intentions at this time!
Mars in Aquarius square Jupiter in Scorpio and Venus in Libra square Uranus in Aries are just about what you would anticipate for such a contentious election. Anger, agitation, and acting out (Mars) regarding beliefs and buried intent (Jupiter in Scorpio).
Retrograde Uranus re-entering Aries re-awakens the energy of April and May 2018, just before Uranus entered Taurus for the first time. On a personal level, look back to that time period to understand how Uranus retrograde in Taurus might affect you. Remember, any retrograde planet signals a time when you can rethink, redo and rectify past attitudes and events. Uranus will stay in Aries until March 5, 2019, when it returns to Taurus. This energy will be felt most strongly by those with planets in late degrees of the cardinal signs (Aries, Libra, Capricorn, Cancer) and the early degrees of the fixed signs (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius).
With all of the Aquarius/Uranus energy, we can expect the unexpected in more ways than one.

November 15: Venus Stations Direct at 25 Degrees Libra.
November 16: North Node enters 29 Degrees Cancer and South Node Enters 29 Degrees Capricorn. The nodal axis changing signs is a major shift with karmic overlays. Roughly, it points to where we have been and where we are going. We have collectively been in a period where the polarity between individuality and “group think” has been challenged and laid bare. Now, as the nodes move into Cancer/Capricorn the energy is about taking care of ourselves, our nation and our fellow earth inhabitants versus business as usual and the almighty dollar. The Nodes will remain in Cancer/Capricorn until September 25, 2029.
On a personal level, this shift will be felt most strongly by those with planets near 29 degrees of the cardinal signs (Aries, Libra, Cancer, Capricorn) and the very early degrees of the fixed signs (Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius, Taurus).
Mars enters Pisces on this date, where it will stay until June 28, 2020. Mars is an uneasy traveler in the sign of Pisces. Mars wants action, aggression and movement. Pisces slows Mars down and tempers its masculine energy. However, I am looking forward to this transit because it should help mitigate the senseless violence that we are seeing all around us. Mars in Pisces is an extremely opportune time to hold peaceful demonstrations, or to get involved in other kinds of nonviolent activism — with the emphasis on the word “peaceful.”
November 20: Mercury Turns Stationary Retrograde at 14 Degrees Sagittarius. Mercury will move back into Scorpio on December 1st and will station direct on December 6 at 27 degrees Scorpio.
November 20: Mars at 3 Degrees Pisces Square Jupiter in Sagittarius. Beware of over “everything” on this day. Be careful of over excitement, over doing, and being overly optimistic. No, you really can’t run a marathon if you haven’t prepared for it!!
November 22, Thanksgiving Day, Sun Joins Jupiter in Sagittarius. Sandwiched between Mars square Jupiter and Sun and Jupiter in Sagittarius, this can be a great day with lots of happy, optimistic energy. Watch out for debating entrenched opinions and beliefs (Jupiter and Sagittarius) over the dinner table. Much better to refrain from such conversations and to then take part in outdoor sports or some other physical activity (Mars).
November 28: Sun, Jupiter and Mercury Conjunct in Sagittarius and Venus Opposition Uranus at 28 Degrees Libra/Aries. The month ends on an optimistic note. The Venus opposition can bring relationship stress, but it can also be a great day to do something fun and offbeat with someone you care about.
