Astrology Transits July 2023 – Nurture

“The bond that links your true family is not one of blood, but of respect and joy in each other’s life.” – Richard Bach

When the Sun moved into the sign of Cancer on June 21st (until July 23rd), everything pertaining to family came into focus. Its time to consider the words “nurture” and “family” and what they mean to you. The dictionary defines “nurture” as “the process of caring for and encouraging the growth or development of someone or something.” Nurturing other people, plants and animals brings us closer to our heart center. Doing so softens your heart and puts you more in touch with the “all that is.” As you go through the month, pay attention to who and what you nurture and try to expand your nurturing horizons.

Also spend some time contemplating “family” and consider expanding your understanding of “family” from not only your birth family, but to others in your life who are always there for you.

June 30: Neptune Stations Retrograde at 28 Degrees Pisces. Neptune, the planet of illusions, dreams and fantasies tends to dissolve, confuse and bring us closer to our subconscious mind. Because of this, you may be feeling a little more tired until Neptune resumes forward motion on December 6, 2023. Give yourself permission to withdraw and recharge when needed.

Retrograde Neptune is working to dissolve and rebuild your inner landscape by bringing subconscious blind spots and motives to the surface. Watch out for escapist tendencies and addictions as a way to escape your emotional vulnerabilities. The highest and best use of Retrograde Neptune is to meditate, spend time on creative and imaginative hobbies and to tune into and expand your intuitive abilities.

July 1: Sun Conjunct Mercury at 9 Degrees Cancer; Sun and Mercury Sextile Jupiter at 9 Degrees Cancer/Taurus. Whenever planets are conjunct, the two planets should be read as a pair. They are inseparable from one another. So, we have Sun conjunct Mercury and Sun and Mercury sextile Jupiter. It is a fun, sunny, expansive time. Mercury brings ease in communications and writing. The Sun glows under Jupiter’s optimism and you are able to express yourself easily and confidently. Enjoy!

July 2: Venus Square Uranus at 22 Degrees Leo/Taurus. Relationship and money matters are unsettled under Venus square Uranus. An unexpected opportunity may appear out of the blue requiring you to make a quick decision. Because matters are so unpredictable now, it is best to just go with the flow and enjoy what is. If you are in a relationship, you may feel a little “hemmed in” or claustrophobic right now. Don’t worry, this aspect won’t last long. Just go with the flow and enjoy what is.

July 3: Full Moon at 11 Degrees 18 Minutes Capricorn. Neptune Sesiquiquadrate Venus at 27 Degrees Pisces 22 Degrees Leo. The Capricorn Full Moon is opposing the Sun in Cancer. Pluto square the Nodes could bring a long wished for goal to fruition.

This is a good time to tune into your relationship with authority and authority figures. It would also be a great opportunity to look at your work/life balance. Ask yourself:

  • Am I spending too much time and effort on work matters and not enough time on family matters? Or vice versa?
  • What is my relationship to authority and authority figures? Do I resent authority and, if so, why?
  • Am I comfortable being my own authority?
  • What is really, really important to me in my life?
  • Am I willing to listen to my heart to bring about a better work/life balance.

July 6-7: Mars Quincunx Neptune at 27 Degrees Leo/Pisces. Mercury Sesiquiquadrate Saturn. Mars quincunx Neptune unleashes an internal struggle between wanting to take action and putting yourself forward, versus wanting to pull back from the world. The answer lies in working with and blending the two energies.

July 10: Mercury Opposition Pluto at 29 Degrees Cancer/Capricorn. Proceed with caution. Keep an open mind and avoid confrontations under this intense Mercury Opposition Pluto transit. Paranoia, troubled and passive-aggressive thoughts and actions are common under this challenging planetary connection.

July 11: North and South Nodes Shift Signs and Move into Aries/Libra. The North and South Nodes are always in opposition to each other and move backwards through the Zodiac. It takes the Nodes 18-1/2 years to move all the way around the Zodiac They stay in a set of opposing signs for about a year and one half. They have been in Taurus/Scorpio since the end of December 2021, but are now moving backwards into the Aries/Libra axis. Those of you with planets or angles near the end of Aries, Cancer, Libra or Capricorn will be most affected by this shift.

July 14:  Sun Sextile Uranus at 22 Cancer/Taurus. Mercury Quincunx Saturn at 6 Degrees Leo/Pisces. Sun sextile Uranus is an electrifying aspect that stimulates your imagination and curiosity. Startling insights can come in a flash from seemingly out-of-the-blue. Mercury quincunx Saturn urges you to use common sense when implementing such ideas.

July 15: Venus Quincunx Neptune at Degrees 27 Degrees Leo/Pisces. Venus quincunx Neptune is an aspect indicating that things may not be as they appear on the surface. Make sure to check out any unfamiliar ideas or people. People and things may not be what they appear to be.

July 17: New Moon at 24 Degrees 56 Minutes Cancer. The Cancer New Moon in a T-square with the Nodes and Pluto may bring up old emotional issues, especially around family, ancestors, and childhood traumas. Pluto in the T-square urges you to confront old family dynamics and to let them go once and for all.

July 20: Sun Trine Neptune at 27 Degrees Cancer/Pisces. Mars Opposition Saturn at 6 Degrees Virgo/Pisces. The Sun trine Neptune amps up your intuition, imagination and connection to unseen worlds, while Mars Opposition Saturn brings discipline and endurance. You might feel frustration from the Mars Opposition Saturn aspect and feel that things are not moving forward fast enough. However, that aspect is excellent for helping you manifest your dreams. Be wary of pushing yourself and others too far. Moderation is key.

July 21: Sun Opposition Pluto at 29 Degrees Cancer/Capricorn. Sun opposition Pluto is excellent for making long-needed, deep and sweeping changes. However, be careful with power struggles, hidden agendas, less-than-ethical actions and violent situations. Keep a low profile at this time.

July 22: Venus Retrograde at 28 Degrees Leo.  Venus stays in retrograde motion until September 3, 2023. Venus retrograde is a good time to review your personal relationships and your money matters. Make any needed adjustments before Venus turns direct on September 3, 2023.

July 23: Sun Enters Leo. It’s time to honor your individuality and to let yourself enjoy creative, and even childlike, spontaneous fun. You Sun-sign Leos will glow at this time, so let your charisma show.

July 23: Mercury Square Uranus at 22 Degrees Leo/Taurus. Mercury square Uranus can bring mental tension, rigid thoughts and an overwhelming need to escape from something. Stay centered, but pay attention to flashes of insight as they could lead to breakthroughs to vexing problems.

July 27: Mercury Conjunct Venus at 28 Degrees Leo. Mercury Quincunx Pluto at 29 Degrees Leo/Capricorn. Mercury conjunct Venus is excellent for all financial and relationship matters. Mercury gives you the ability to communicate in a pleasant way. However, with Mercury also quincunx Pluto there will be an undercurrent of unrest requiring you to making adjustments to your thoughts and plans. Be careful not to come across as controlling or domineering under Mercury quincunx Pluto.

July 29: Sun at 5 Degrees Leo Quincunx Saturn at 5 Pisces. Hopefully, you contemplated necessary adjustments, particularly in business matters, when Mercury was quincunx Pluto. Now with the Sun quincunx Saturn, it is time to make concrete, long term adjustments to the way you interact with others. Such adjustments (quincunx) can help you manifest (Leo Sun) your dreams (Pisces).

Astrology Transits June 2023 – Communication and Connection

Your words are your unique creation and they become what you see and experience in your life — Master Chunyi Lin

Our words and, indeed, all of our ideas, the spoken and written word and all other kinds of communication and connection become extra important as we move into Gemini season. Gemini and its ruler, Mercury, are how we connect to the outside world through all of our senses.

Gemini has a strong affinity to the number “two,” since it relates to our two hands, two lungs, twins, etc. As a fun exercise this month, pay attention to all things around you that come in twos. You might be surprised by the outcome.

A noteworthy shift occurred last month on May 16th when Jupiter moved into Taurus, where it will stay for one year. Jupiter is about expansion and Taurus is about our values, our finances and our security. I am feeling optimistic that Jupiter in Taurus will lighten the collective mood around financial matters and that we will be able to feel more secure and optimistic during Jupiter’s stay in Taurus. One caution:  Do not overspend. Jupiter can make you a little too ready to overbuy and overspend. Use your Saturn to question and to curb those impulse purchases.

June 1: Mars Quincunx Saturn at 7 Degrees Leo/Pisces. The quincunx aspect calls for adjustment. Because the two planets are unable to relate to each other, there is always a feeling that something has to be adjusted. In addition, Mars wants action and wants it now, while Saturn wants to slow things down so you will do the wise and responsible thing. Overall, use discipline and be willing to make adjustments where needed.

June 2: Venus Trine Neptune at 27 Degrees Cancer/Pisces. Let yourself relax and dream when Venus is trine Neptune. You may see the world through rose colored glasses now, so it isn’t the best time to make serious or long-range decisions.

June 3: Full Moon at 13 Degrees Sagittarius Opposition Sun at 13 Degrees Gemini. Sagittarius is the sign of the seeker and the quest for knowledge. The Sagittarius Full Moon brings a much-needed dose of optimism and belief that things will somehow get better, while the Sun in Gemini opens us up to new ideas and better ways of thinking about things.

June 4: Mercury Conjunct Uranus at 20 Degrees Taurus. Your mind (Mercury) is working overtime when Mercury is conjunct Uranus. You may feel the need to express unusual, or even radical, (Uranus) ideas (Mercury) at this time. Jot down any inventive ideas now as Mercury conjunct Uranus can bring all kinds of mental breakthroughs.

June 5: Venus Opposition Pluto at Zero Degrees Leo/Aquarius. Be careful in relationship matters when Venus is opposition Pluto. The intensity is high and unwelcome truths or potential conflicts may be delivered in a controlling or overly forceful manner.

June 7:  Venus Trine North Node at 2 Degrees Leo/Taurus. You are tuned into who is giving you support and who isn’t supportive when Venus is trine the North Node. It may be time to alter your interactions with certain friends, family members and/or acquaintances.

June 9: Mercury Sextile Neptune at 27 Degrees Taurus/Pisces. Make a vision board when Mercury is sextile Neptune. Your intuitive talents are front and center now and your imagination is at its highest level.

June 11:  Mars Sesiquiquadrate Neptune at 12 Degrees Leo/Pisces. The sesiquiquadrate aspect indicates that a turning point is imminent in a situation. Decisions must be made now, whether you are ready or not. Mars sesiquiquadrate Neptune can be especially stressful because Mars demands action, while Neptune just wants to escape. Use Mars’ active energy to move forward and to push past obstacles. Putting off decisions or needed actions can bring a compulsive, obsessive edge to the situation. Decisions made under duress are rarely wise. Instead, take time out (Neptune in Pisces) to pull back from the situation until you can make a rational, well-thought-out decision.

June 13: Venus Quincunx Saturn at 7 Degrees Leo/Pisces. Pull back from the social scene when Venus is quincunx Saturn. Use this time to look at your relationships (Venus) and loyalties (Saturn). Ask yourself whether your relationships are on track and beneficial to you. If not, try to fix it when Mercury is sextile Venus on June 17.

June 15: Mercury Square Saturn at 7 Degrees Gemini/Pisces. Mercury square Saturn shows up in a similar way to retrograde Mercury. Transportation and communication matters (Mercury) are problematic (Saturn) and delays are possible. You may be feeling limited and judgmental. The energy is much better on the 17th, so defer important meetings a couple of days if at all possible.

June 17: Mercury Sextile Venus at 11 Degrees Gemini/Leo. Mercury sextile Venus fosters a spirit of compromise and agreement. Social conversations flow easily and interactions with others are harmonious.

June 18: New Moon at 26 Degrees 43 Minutes Gemini. The Moon in Gemini urges us to be open to new and unusual ideas and concepts. You will be more talkative and more willing to share your ideas during the Gemini New Moon. Just be sure that you not only share your ideas, but also that you really listen to others. Communication and connection are about both talking and listening.

June 18: Sun Square Neptune at 27 Degrees Gemini/Pisces. Try to take it easy as much as possible when the Sun is square Neptune. You may be feeling extra tired and run down and your decision-making abilities are at a low point. Instead, read or listen to inspirational messages and go to bed early. Both daytime and night time dreams may bring needed messages from your subconscious now.

June 21: Sun Quincunx Pluto at 29 Degrees Gemini/Capricorn. Mercury Sextile Mars at 18 Degrees Gemini/Leo. Mercury Sextile Chiron at 19 Degrees Leo/Aries. The quincunx aspect calls for adjustment. Your ego needs (Sun) may be challenged by someone else’s need to take control (Pluto). Listen to your heart when Mercury is sextile Chiron. Your inner knowing is speaking to you now.

June 25-26: Mercury Square Neptune at 27 Degrees Gemini Pisces. Mercury Quincunx Pluto at 29 Degrees Gemini/Capricorn. Your imagination is working overtime when Mercury is square Neptune. Your intuitive powers are high, but you can easily be taken advantage of through confusion, misperception or deceit. Leave important decisions for another day. Examine your thoughts and concepts when Mercury is quincunx Pluto. You may have to make adjustments to your thinking.

June 25-26: Mars Square Uranus at 21 Degrees Leo/Taurus. Mars square Uranus is one of those red alert aspects that advise caution. The urge to take unwise chances is strong and your impulse meter is at the danger point. Avoid angry confrontations and potentially dangerous situations. Think before you act, as you are more accident prone at this time.

June 28-29: Sun Trine Saturn at 7 Degrees Cancer/Pisces. Venus Trine Chiron at 10 Degrees Leo/Aries. Sun trine Saturn brings rewards from past work or responsibilities. Venus trine Chiron brings opportunities to establish more positive relationships with others. Use your intuition and you will know just what to do.

June 30: Mercury Trine Saturn at 7 Degrees Cancer/Pisces. The month ends on a helpful Mercury trine Saturn aspect. You will find it easier to organize and you will be blessed with rational and logical thinking.

Astrology Transits May 2023 – Transformation

Change has a bad reputation in our society. But it isn’t all bad – not by any means. In fact, change is necessary in life – to keep us moving, to keep us growing, to keep us interested. Imagine life without change. It will be static, boring, dull. — Dr. Dennis O’Grady

The big news this month is the Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Scorpio. This Scorpio eclipse promises to be intense, emotional and, potentially, life changing. Eclipses are not a one-and-done type of energy. The effects of an eclipse last for six months, sometimes longer. This would be a great time to do your candle rituals and to affirm what you want to manifest during the next six months to a year.

  • Close your eyes and visual what you want. Its best not to be too focused on a certain outcome. Thus, “a loving, warm, supportive relationship, is much better than “I want X to love me.
  • Add emotion – the more emotion the better.
  • Use all five senses and your sixth intuitive sense to see yourself already achieving that goal.
  • Thank the universe, God or other spiritual entity that you relate to for bringing your good to you.
  • Understand that your desires begin to manifest as soon as you believe that they can happen.
  • Release to the universe while saying and believing, “this or something better is mine now.”

The more you can feel your emotions and feel the sense that your desires have already been fulfilled, the quicker your desires will manifest. However, rest assured the universe will bring you what you need at the right time for your spiritual evolution.

May 1: Sun Conjunct Mercury at 11 Degrees Taurus. Sun conjunct Mercury is a short-lived aspect that is excellent for writing, talking and all matters related to communication. Mercury is retrograde so be sure your thoughts and communication are clear and organized.

May 3: Mars Sesiquiquadrate Saturn at 20 Degrees Cancer/5 Degrees Pisces. Mars sesiquiquadrate Saturn is a frustrating aspect that feels like you have one foot on the gas (Mars) and the other foot on the brake (Saturn). Stay calm. Patience is definitely a virtue at this time.

May 4: Venus Square Neptune at 26 Degrees Gemini/Pisces. Venus square Neptune is one of those aspects that can be blissful or can tend towards confusion and delusion. Be especially careful regarding untested relationships under this aspect.

May 5: Full Moon Lunar Eclipse at 14 Degrees 58 Minutes Scorpio. Did I say INTENSE? If not, I’ll say it again – INTENSE. The Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Scorpio ushers in big changes over the next six months. This is especially true for the fixed signs (Scorpio, Aquarius, Taurus and Leo); especially if you have planets within 9 to 20 degrees of those signs. Ask yourself whether you want to hold onto your collective past or to releasee some of the weight. Power issues are big — both issues with others wanting power over you and you giving away your power. This promises to be a very emotional eclipse, so give yourself the time and space to process your feelings as needed.

May 7: Venus Enters Cancer. Venus Quincunx Retrograde Pluto at Zero Degrees Cancer/Aquarius. Intensity (retrograde Pluto) in relationships (Venus). Express yourself, but don’t belabor the point. The energy is much too volatile under Venus quincunx Pluto. Adjustments (quincunx) need to be made, but wait until the energy is more conducive to discussions with others.

May 9:  Sun Conjunct Uranus at 19 Degrees Taurus. You are raring to go and ready to make changes when the Sun is Conjunct Uranus. Your inventive abilities are heightened, so use this time to find solutions to vexing problems.

May 13: Venus Trine Saturn at 6 Degrees Cancer/Pisces.  Venus trine Saturn is excellent for reassessing your friendships and relationships. You are serious and grounded, which helps you make the right decision regarding problematic relationships.

May 15: Mercury Turns Direct at 5 Degrees Taurus. This has been one of the most frustrating Mercury Retrograde periods for me in a long time. My refrigerator hit the dust, as did my computer and paper shredder. The refrigerator was at least 25 years old and the computer had started to act up, so it was all needed. I am reminded again that the universe creates opportunities for us to advance and find new opportunities. Flow with the setbacks and enjoy the opportunity to make corrections.

May 15: Mars Trine Neptune at 27 Degrees Cancer/Pisces.  Take action (Mars) toward your dreams (Neptune). Trines are easy energy, but they lack “oomph.” Neptune also lacks oomph. Mars trine Neptune adds the necessary push to make your dreams come true.

May 16-23: Jupiter Square Pluto at Zero Degrees Taurus/Aquarius. Zero degrees of a sign is considered to be a new beginning and a chance to forge new paths. Taurus relates to financial matters and security, while Aquarius is about working with groups and friends to achieve your aims. Jupiter brings abundance. Go for it and aim high under this highly beneficial aspect. However, because Mars forms a T-square with Jupiter and Pluto, this time period fosters a certain sense of craziness and hysteria. The evening news ought to be quite interesting. Stay calm; this too shall pass. Use the positive vibes and don’t get caught up in the “stuff.”

May 19: New Moon at 28 Degrees Taurus.  The New Moon in Taurus places your focus on the simple things in life, your security and your connection to the earth. Spend time enjoying and beautifying your home and garden, or buy a new house plant to nurture. Taurus is a sensual sign that delights in the five senses (hearing, touch, smell, and taste). Take time to enjoy the delights of nature. Watch the bees and revel in the beautiful new flowers. Take a long, nature walk or splurge on a new favorite perfume.

May 20: Mars Enters Leo. Mars Opposition Pluto at Zero Degrees Leo/Aquarius. Mars in Leo forms an opposition to Pluto in Aquarius. Mars opposition Pluto enhances your energy and motivation to get things done. Push yourself, not others, under Mars opposition Pluto. Actions taken now, can have very positive and long-reaching results.

May 21: Sun Enters Gemini. Sun Trine Pluto at Zero Degrees Gemini/Aquarius. The Sun in Gemini brings our attention to all matters relating to communication, teaching, learning and moving freely about. Sun in Gemini trine Pluto adds emphasis to our communication.

May 23: Mars Square Jupiter at 1 Degree Leo/Taurus. Mars square Jupiter is super for firing up your goals and for taking decisive action. Mars brings a burst of energy and the desire to take action, while Jupiter brings a sense of optimism. Together, they bring exuberance and a tendency to overdo and to take unnecessary risks. Use this dynamic Mars square Jupiter aspect to advance new projects. Just remember to stay grounded and to always act with integrity.

May 24: Venus Square Chiron at 18 Degrees Cancer/Aries. Consider letting go of painful and/or problematic relationships. Venus square Chiron blesses you with the opportunity for more positive and life-enhancing relationships. Such relationships can only appear when you let go of the negative connections.

May 28: Sun Square Saturn at 6 Degrees Gemini/Pisces. Sun square Saturn is an excellent aspect for steady accomplishment. Contrast this with Mars square Jupiter on May 23rd. Sun square Saturn gives you the patience and fortitude to tackle vexing obstacles and to make tough decisions.

Astrology Transits April 2023 – Evaluate and Release

Get into the habit of asking yourself: Does this support the life I am trying to create? If not, release it. — Sylvester McNutt III

The big astrological news for April 2023 is the Aries New Moon Solar Eclipse at 29 Degrees Aries and/or zero Degrees Taurus. This is a very unusual eclipse because it starts out at 29 degrees of Aries and then quickly moves to a Taurus solar eclipse at zero degrees Taurus. The sign of Aries is about beginnings, action and taking initiative. The sign of Taurus is about our values, our money and our security.

New Moons and solar eclipses are always about letting go of something to move into something new. It is abundantly clear that this eclipse is about re-evaluating what you own, whether emotions, ideas or material goods, and then releasing what does not serve your highest good.

April 2023 transits bring a somewhat easier month with only a few challenging aspects (such as squares) and lots of sextiles. Squares are challenging because they push us to change or to act. This is usually a good thing, but due to our human aversion to change, it can seem threatening.

Sextiles are easy energy because both planets work together to bring a sense of ease and flow. Because sextiles are easy, it is important to consciously use the energy, or it will simply dissipate without being of benefit.

April 3: Mercury Enters Taurus and Squares Pluto at 0 Degrees Taurus/Aquarius. Our speech and thought patterns become more measured and thoughtful while Mercury is in Taurus. Mercury square Pluto for a day adds a certain intensity and possibly passive/aggressive thoughts and actions.

April 5: Mercury Sextile Saturn at 3 Degrees Taurus/Pisces.

Sun Conjunct Chiron at 15 Degrees Aries. Mercury sextile Saturn brings rational and logical thinking, concentration and focus. Sun conjunct Chiron promotes a renewed sense of purpose. Use this time to set your intentions and add action after the Libra Full Moon tomorrow.

April 6: Libra Full Moon at 16 Degrees Libra/Aries. The Libra Full Moon emphasizes relationships. The opposing Sun in Aries conjunct Chiron, the wounded healer, opens your eyes to your relationship wounds. Use this time to understand how past relationships are affecting you. It is especially important to ask yourself whether your wounds are keeping you from opening fully to your current or potential relationships. The Libra Moon in opposition to the Aries Sun calls for evaluating your relationship for fairness (Libra). Are you giving too much to your relationships or are you taking too much from the other person. If either is true, now is the time to work out a more equitable arrangement.

April 7: Venus Sextile Neptune at 25 Degrees Taurus/Pisces. Indulge yourself with a lovely scented bubble bath or take a mini-escape of your choice. Dig in the dirt and plant some flowers if it’s warm enough in your area. Best of all, pretend its Valentine’s Day and let those you love know how much you care.

April 8:  Mercury Sextile Mars at 6 Degrees Taurus/Cancer. Ideas, mental alertness and decisiveness combine to make this a good time to figure out and implement practical solutions to vexing issues.

April 11: Venus Enters Gemini and Trines Pluto at 0 Degrees Gemini/Aquarius. Venus in Gemini until May 7 benefits money making ideas. Attend a mind-opening lecture that stretches your mind and shakes up your concepts. Stimulating conversations are especially enjoyable at this time, though Venus trine Pluto from April 10 through 12 may bring too much intensity to such conversations. Express yourself, but don’t belabor your point.

Sun Conjunct Jupiter at 21 Degrees Aries. Sun conjunct Jupiter is a wonderful, optimistic and expansive energy. Think big and act accordingly — but stay realistic.

April 14:  Venus Square Saturn at 4 Degrees Gemini/Pisces. Use Venus square Saturn to reassess your finances and relationships. Saturn brings the ability to see through the cold, hard lens of reality, while Venus softens your view. Similarly, Saturn helps you see the flaws in your monetary strategy, while Venus helps you make adjustments without fear.

April 20: New Moon Hybrid Solar Eclipse at 29 Degrees Aries or 0 Degrees Taurus.  This New Moon Solar Eclipse straddles the line between Aries and Taurus. All eclipses bring change. The Aries/Libra axis speaks to relationship issues. You may need to negotiate (Libra) new parameters around any thorny relationship issues. The Taurus/Scorpio axis speaks to a needed transformation around deep life values, security and money.

The last degree of a sign means that something has reached its apex. Its time to use what you have learned, finish something, and release the old. The first degree of a sign is about starting a new journey forward. Look to the houses in your birth chart where the eclipse falls to determine where you should make changes.

This solar eclipse will be felt most strongly by those with the Sun, ascendant, descendant, midheaven, or significant planets in late degrees of Aries, Cancer, Capricorn, Libra; and also, those with the sun or significant points or planets in early degrees of Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius.

April 20: Sun Enters Taurus and Squares Pluto at 0 Degrees Taurus/Aquarius. Sun in Taurus brings our attention to beauty in nature and your money and security needs. Sun square Pluto is about honoring and expressing your power, without becoming controlling and/or aggressive. This is especially true for those with early degrees of Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius.

April 23: Mercury turns Retrograde. Mercury Sextile Mars at 15 Degrees Taurus/Cancer. Mercury sextile Mars brings mental alertness, and a sharp and decisive mind. Mercury retrograde until May 16 aids in using this mental spark to revisit past actions and to make changes where needed.

April 25: Sun Sextile Saturn at 4 Degrees Taurus/Pisces. Venus Sextile Chiron at 16 Degrees Gemini/Aries. Use Sun sextile Saturn to bring your dreams (Pisces) to reality (Saturn). Venus sextile Chiron aids in healing old wounds that keep you from manifesting your dreams.

April 27: Mars Square Chiron at 17 Degrees Cancer/Aries. Mars square Chiron is the universe holding a big sign saying: “It’s time to let go of old hurts and fears and to just take action!”

April 29: Mars Sextile Uranus at 18 Degrees Cancer/Taurus. Mars sextile Uranus is a “light bulb” aspect. Use innovative and unusual methods to break through obstacles.

I am still doing astrology readings by telephone or Zoom. My readings consist of transits, progressions, solar arc directions and solar return (year ahead) in relation to your birth chart. Of course, I also do natal readings. One-hour readings are $160 and half-hour readings are $80. Readings are recorded and payment is by PayPal, Venmo or Zelle. Send an email to ruby@astrology-classes.com to schedule your reading.
